Oh, of course I know… This exactly what you wanted, right? … Right?! @setsunafreakinseiei

This costume is amazing.

I think next year, I’ll go as the 00-Raiser with Saji Crossroad, if he’s up for it.

This costume is pretty amazing, but coordinating costumes… You do know that’s something couples do, right?

Saji...is there something we need to talk about?

This one was significantly more interesting than the last.

Louise wasn't entirely sure that was a good thing.

She knew the Haros were designed with multiple functions, but never once had it crossed her mind if a vibrator was really one of them. She was fairly certain they were more utilitarian than that.

Weren't they?

Now she was beginning to wonder. They were made partially as companion bots, after all. But she wasn't about to ask.

Either way, the author didn't seem to have thought this through. Those ear flaps were probably far too sharp to be pleasurable in any way. And trying to program such a limited AI to attempt dirty talk – the result was just pure secondhand embarrassment for the author.

As for Saji's role? As far as she could see, everything he was doing could only result in one thing: a trip to the emergency room with a large talking ball clamped someplace that it just shouldn't be.

Well, since the story was out there, it was a little awkward but entirely unsurprising to run across this.

It was also disappointing but entirely unsurprising that they completely destroyed the dynamic between them. Of course, so did the media.

Truthfully, this was kind of pathetic. It looked like a sitcom from the 1950s in space.

She only hoped that no one from work was seeing this and thinking it was any reflection on who she actually was.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down! You don't want to get even more hurt, do you?"
"Tell me where it hurts."
"Whoa, that's purple... It looks like your shoulder is dislocated."
"Oh my god. Are you okay?"
"You're bleeding... You're bleeding bad..."
"This is gonna hurt..."
"Holy crap! I may not know much about human anatomy, but legs don't bend that way!"
"It's all swollen up..."

"Look out for that car!"
"Wake up! Oh god, please wake up!"
"You're alive! Oh, thank god!"
"I'm no doctor, but you should have that looked at. It's bleeding a lot..."
"What is that? Are there bandages under your shirt?"
"Why is your arm wrapped up like that? And are those blood stains!?"
"You must have hit the back of your head really hard."
"Look at me. Just look at me and stay awake. Can you do that?"

are we not gonna talk about the fact that the music video these gifs are from, and the song that plays in it, is essentially a giant “fuck you” to society’s views of “disabled people are broken/useless/should be pitied”? or the fact that she WILLINGLY CHOSE to have her leg amputated? [due to medical reasons, there were other options presented to her, but again she said “fuck it” and chose the amputation because that was the safest option in her opinion, and she never once lets this decision hinder her or change anything about her.] Or how she has teamed up with the Alternative Limb Project who not only supplies her with these downright masterful prosthetic limbs but also helps other amputees afford such limbs for themselves? And helps said amputees express themselves and be creative with their newfound limbs? [fyi, the glowy leg is NOT cgi, that is 100% real, LED powered prosthesis. Fuck yeah engineering, baybee!]

Viktoria Modesta is quite possibly the greatest thing to happen to pop music and maybe even modern society as a whole, because she is literally proving that disabled people are not broken, they are not weak; they are strong, can put “normal” abled bodied people in their place, and look downright amazing while doing so. She is an inspiration and if you don’t think that is incredible then get the fuck away from me, you are not worth anyone’s time.

We present to you some recommended viewing!

Lasse stood back and watched her. He wathed her and wondered.

To him, her behaviour looked like Lisa’s old behaviour.

To him, her behaviour looked like addiction.

He bit his lip

“What if…what if, we can’t get any more of those pills…?”

He decided to let her tell him if it was or not.

Louise froze in place, eyes wide, still as a statue, with a pill between her fingers. She hadn’t considered that possibility before. It seemed all too likely, was the worst part – these were specially compounded for her convenience, and she didn’t even know what their components were.

‘Okay. Okay. Calm down, Louise, you’ll figure something out.’ Maybe if she could save one back for analysis. Yes. That seemed promising.

Still, just the thought of running out left her feelingthe signs of what happened if she went untreated. Though she remained still, her body felt as if it was starting to shake. The room seemed as if it was spinning. Her arm started to hurt once again – now more than ever. Her skin went pale and she broke out in a cold sweat.

“I– I guess we’d have to find something to replace them.”

Regene blinked, stunned. How could she not know about her very own capability—and such a crucial one that Ribbons was sure to have used on her?

“Uh, you…. have quantum brainwave capabilities…”

Although, at the moment it looked as if she were on the verge of a panic attack, so he switched tactics accordingly.

“Would you… like a glass of calming tea, or to get away from the flourescent lights?”

'...so that's what it is.'

She'd known she just felt strange sometimes when Ribbons was around. She'd known that she felt compelled to do certain things that just felt out-of-character for her, when he was near. Now, someone who appeared to be similar in physiology to him (if in no other way) was able to transmit messages directly to her mind—

So that was the "quantum brainwaves" she'd been hearing about in passing.

Louise reached back, her hands still shaking, and she loosely gripped a rail on the wall.

"...I think – that tea sounds nice." Though right now she could hardly think of drinking anything – in this moment, her goal was just to steady herself.

Lasse scratched his head, finally remembering that it was Setuna who told him who she was and she had been in a pod at the time.
First he would define himself, “Pilot of this ship… the Ptolemaios,” he added, realising she might need a reminder of where she was, “Commander’s partner, Lasse Aeon.”
He bit his lip, offering her a hand. He had no idea if she’d ever been in a low-gravity unit before, and remembering his first days aboard, she looked disoriented enough where he hoped she would understand the hand he offered her was genuine.
"We, uh, we unfortunately don’t have a medic aboard anymore, but if you know what you need, I can help you to sickbay."

Her breathing was beginning to slow to a more normal pace. Her arm still hurt like hell but it was getting easier to ignore. Every few seconds there would still be a flash where she could hardly tell where she was, but her real position was becoming more and more apparent.

Her shaking mostly stopped, and she reached out for Lasse's hand. "Thank you. I'm Louise Halevy – former A-Laws Warrant Officer."

Of course, she wasn't sure exactly what her current title would be, and something about that was terrifying to her.

"I appreciate the offer, but I will be fine. This...this will pass."

With that, she began grabbing pills out of the air as she found them and placing them back in the vial. Quickly counting how many had stayed in, she managed to determine that eleven had flown away. Two were easy to spot and catch, but she wasn't sure what happened to the other nine.

'Great. Not again.'

(Apparently Lasse can't send asks. As Lasse) “It’s okay. It’s me. You know who I am?”

For a moment, Louise could manage no more motion than shaking. She'd hit her prosthetic hand hard enough to jar the connection area – and the resulting flash of pain flooded her with memories of the day she'd lost the natural one. Her stomach was doing backflips and the way she gripped at anything nearby to try and keep herself oriented did little for the pain in her arm.

She let herself float freely for a moment as she dug through her pocket for the vial of pills she carried with her and threw its contents at her prosthetic hand, leaving most of the pills to bounce free in any direction, at various speeds. That would be a pain to clean up, she knew, but it was far from the most important thing on her mind. She caught one, chewed, and swallowed it, wincing at the bitter taste – but it was the only way to make it act fast enough.

Even now, something related to a placebo effect started to take hold, and she was able to register that who was speaking to her was not an enemy, nor an emergency medic – in fact she wasn't even on the ground. Still trembling, her face still drained of all color, she turned toward the man watching over her and speaking to her.

"...I– I'm afraid I don't."
