one of the things rewatching one piece has made me think about is law’s own journey through the grand line up until sabaody, and the thought i keep coming back to (given that law’s relationship with his crew seems to be nothing at all like the closeness shared by the strawhats, and also given his goals) is that it must have been, despite the physical presence of other people, a remarkably lonely experience

what why is Bulbasaur line “the lame one”? giant fat dinosaur stomping through the route trainer on its back, relaxing under the shade of its sweet smelling plant that attracts all the pokemon closer to them in battle it can leech seed, absorb, constrict, poison powder its enemy like fucking “who even needs to hit when you can sit back and watch them die while being healed?” Bulbasaur line is the best. Just get a Fearow to fly you and a Lapras to surf you. beats “don’t burn me when i hug you” dragon and “water pistol” turtle.
