[ I have been SUPER busy with my final film animation, plus all my class finals that are coming up and my figure drawing final project, I have just been SWAMPED with school work and any and all free time have been spend doing my art finals. so until those are over, I have NO time for updating this blog,
BUT!!!
I will not be taking my winter semester this year (its a shortened one and it doesnt offer the classes i need) so ill be basically free all winter so i shall update then!!!)
I have just finished going through your blog (you may have noticed) and I love everything about it. I was wondering though how long does it take you to complete a drawing?
[Depending on the piece its about a 1-2 hour average! Comic type stuff takes a bit longer because I have to plan out whats best for the text/ flow of it!]
I know Ruby and Sapphire's last name is Fire now But I really like them being called the Loverrts too it was fun to say Maybe that's like Sapphire's Maiden name or like they have it hyphenated? Like Loverrts-Fire But they Just say Fire cause it's easier lol (I'm not trying to tell you how to run your blog, you're doing great by the way hon 😘 I thought it was a fun idea?)
So, going by show canon, Berry's actually a huge bitch? Damn, she's too cute.
[Cerise is they type of person who is really nice and supportive….if you are also nice and respectful to her and her family/friends! If you are NOT then…lets just say that Cerise can and WILL get what she wants. She can become very scary at times when people are rude to her family/friends. a basically ‘treat others how you want to be treated’ because if you dont, she can deliver it right back at ya 10x]

And then I was just STUMPED on what to do with all these new characters that I really want to see more of them before I finalize their designs and stories! So how do Topaz, Aquamarine, and Both Zircon's fit in?
{ Aquamarine is a kinda like school inspector, very high and mighty and just a pain to impress when she visits and Topaz is her bodyguard (because of those ruffians that lurk the hallways) and she is just a big soft gay just trying to do her job and she needs a vacation... a gaycation.
both Zircons are opposing lawyers on the tv show flourite likes to watch because someone sent me and ask with that headcanon and just YES
Yellow Zircon tends to win a lot but DAMN if blue zircon doesnt win the hardest cases (she actually solved and convicted two leaders of a coup can you believe it])
Are the Cool Kids "mean" Cool in this? Or are they still nice, it's just that Lars thinks he has to do something dangerous to impress them?
[ Oh the cool kids are total sweethearts! and it’s basically like in canon that Lars tends to go about the wrong way with trying to impress them. and it’s also canon that they (at least Jenny) do car races sometimes so it just happened then!]
How is lars' transformation going to be incorporated :o
[ I was thinking that he might have gotten into a minor car accident (scar on face) because he was trying to do some cool trick or something to impress the cool kids and it turned into a sort of wake up call for him? He starts ‘transforming’ and coming into his own and doing things HE enjoys and starts to not try to be ‘’’’cool’’ (ends up becoming super cool lol) so he dyes his hair pink and starts wearing the color more because he really likes it and goes to a new book club (the off colors) cuz he likes reading and theyre all super nice and are his friends and yeah :D)

Flourite is a Grandma that lives in beach city! She’s pretty big, around 6′’5′’ and she’s a part of a polyamourous relationship. Her partners are traveling the world at the moment (she prefers to stay at home) but she has pictures and knick nacks all around her house from them!
The Rutile twins were cajoined at birth and had surgery to separate them (they have a prosthetic leg) and their surgery scar makes a cute little Y shape (like their gem) if they stand together (which they do often) They do everything together and are like #sisterGoals tbh, very very sweet
Rhodinite just moved to beach city and she’s just came out with her sexuality so shes a bit nervous around all these new faced and is still coming into herself. But she met the others and is flourishing into a bright and happy young lady. (she also met ruby and sapphire and was just star stuck because one, they ARE kinda famous and 2, they were big inspirations with her coming out!)
Padparadscha is Sapphire’s cousin! She has some cognitive disabilities and tends to be a bit late with reacting. She was just visiting for a bit but ended up loving beach city so much that she moved here!
They all form a book club and Lars joins later on. The book club also doubles as a kinda motivational one too. Those off colors stick together! They get matching jackets and hang at the big doughnut a lot :3 Flourite makes them slow down and really savor what the book has to offer, the Rutile twins always are excited over the book and tend to finish eachothers sentences as they explain, Padparadscha tends to go back on topics already discussed but its nice and they like going back and really going in depth on those parts and Lars and Rhodinite are PROS at finding themes and interpreting different messages in the work!]
