Depression really is a motherfucker.

I lost myself for years.

I detached, shut off, and went inward.

But I finally feel like I'm coming back. I'm thinking more clearly. I'm being my sweet, sensitive, soft, creative, emotional self and I love it!!! I'm so much more conscious than when I was shut off.

I just want to stay this way. Aware and myself.

I'm in the best mood ever!

Listening to some sweet tunes, making dinner in the crock pot, and releasing all my built up negative energy!

Today, I got the spark of hope I needed. And I'm hanging onto it, I won't let go.

i wonder if you can tell if someone grew up having a cellphone as a kid/teen by how many sounds their current phone has activated at all times. it seems like everyone who grew up taking their phone to school is used to muting everything including the ringer, even well into adulthood and without a reasoning beyond it being “more polite” that way. i remember being taken aback by coworkers only 10-15 years older than me walking around with their ringers on in the office like it was nothing, meanwhile my ringer has been permanently disabled basically since i first got a phone. it just makes me wonder if people approach cellphone sounds differently depending on their age/stage of life when they first got one.
