Nick looked over at the redhead, eyebrows raised ever-so-slightly. It wasn't like her to be so unenthusiastic, so he paused what he was doing to climb onto the bed next to her. "Nope," he answered, "I'd rather stay here with you than be... anywhere else, really. What's wrong, Ave?"

"Sorry! You just kept talking and talking…..I didn’t know what to do!" She tried not to burst into laughter and covered her own mouth. 

"Yeah -- that's when you tell me to shut my mouth and deal with the more important things," Jared replied, lifting his coffee cup to cover whatever it was that was tainting his beauty. "I have a reputation to keep up, you know."

"I knew it! The ‘stache never fails!. I do believe ‘ll be using this disguise more often" 

"I don't know if I can handle that -- it's too much for me! What's got you hiding behind the 'stache, anyway? Are you on the run?"
