I have been rather absent...
I have been rather absent from my book blog over the past few months and I have little in the way of excuses! I've read very little until lately and I genuinely think it is changing my state of mind, it seems I might ACTUALLY NEED BOOKS TO BE SANE (insert Alice In Wonderland quote referencing how those who are crazy are the best people- you know the one.) However, all of that has changed as my English Literature course forces me to open new doors (aka books) and read out of my comfort zone... This has proven a challenge but I've decide the best way to motivate me to read from a more dynamic and very classical (😬😬😬) selection is to review each one! Tomorrow I will follow with a Review of Wide Sargasso Sea which is a novella by Jean Rhys, which is supposed to be ("supposed" interpret the tone as you will) a sequel/inspired by Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre)
Me.
I love using “my guy” and “my dude” and “kiddos” and “friend” for everything because there’s so much affection yet an unbelievable amount of sarcasm and that pretty much describes my personality

Compelling First Lines of Famous Books.
I’m not going to die,“ she said. “Not till I’ve seen it.” “Seen what?” Her smile widened. “Everything”.
I wish I could see myself through my friends’ eyes. Like am I annoying? Am I the weird friend you regret being friends with? Am I ugly? What am I to you?
Day 55 of 100 days of productivity! Tracked my studying today with snapchat pics. I read three books/ chapters on Jane Austen today for my dissertation, which was fun. But to be honest, I’m pretty done with the research part of my dissertation. Luckily I only need to do a few more days of research, before I can start analysing, constructing my argument and making an outline!
