So this picture is special to me because it’s something I needed to do. Last year, two weeks before graduation I was told that I would not be able to graduate because I would not be able to pass math. I had taken and failed this math class three separate times and I had little to no confidence in myself already but to hear this just twisted the knife even more. I didn’t want to get out of bed or try but I forced myself to. If things got hard, I would listen to their EP and calm myself down or watch one of their ridiculous videos because it gave me confidence you know? So much girl power, a lot of hope that anything could happen. So eventually, I worked my ass off and I proved everyone wrong and I graduated.

I walked into the meet and greet with my cap on because apparently we couldn’t hand anything to the girls. Ally is the first to see me and she screams “Oh my god! Congrats! You graduated! Woohoo!” I get the best group hug and I tell them it’s all because of them. At this point lauren and camila are pulling away and asking why. I tell them my condensed story, while crying I may add with little time, and they were so touched. Camila couldn’t stop telling me how proud she was, as well as Lauren. Normani and Dinah pulled me into the biggest hug (when I cried into Dinah’s boobs which was an experience I may add).

On the cap I wrote “I am the bo$$ of my destiny” because I am. I realized that with the help of these wonderful and supportive girls. I put the cap on the gift table for them but I’m not sure if they got it. I hope they did. Thank you fifth harmony, for giving me so much hope.
