general rule of wear ;
a seamstress should know the ins and outs of fashion as it progresses, and as the daughter of the most renowned seamstress hana-lee was taught the way to work any fabrics into a beautiful design. most if not all of what hana-lee wears is something she has made on her own. as such the designs of her gowns appear more regal even when the fabrics she can manage to acquire are not up to par.
color & textile ;
hana-lee prefers deep colors for her gowns, finding that they imbue her with more feelings of strength and safety. they tend to suit her mellow personality. for patters and textiles she would wear things of lace, but never anything flashy.
dreams ;
if hana-lee could afford anything outside of what she has she would only move to better fabrics. something softer to the touch and that would flow better as she moved. something less constraining.
veiling ;
in many practices you can see veiling options and how they are used to aid and protect wearers. in pagan tradition a veil can mean many things to a wearer. to hana-lee it is used as a physical symbol of the mental and magical veil she put up to protect herself from becoming overwhelmed by her empathic abilities. aside from protection she uses it as a means to ward of evil, focus on her power, and to remind herself of her commitment to her craft.
