I’ve only ever written Anime characters, but after watching brave a few dozen times, I fell in love with this character, so here it goes!

Can you give me some advice on writing a Merida bio? Im a bit lost! (This is my first time roleplaying. Love your blog)
I can absolutely try but to be honest with you I haven’t touched merida in almost a year and a half okay. What I did when writing mine, I gave her all of the canon traits and then wrote some in myself, drawing inspiration from my own interests and whatnot. That’s what I love about movie canon characters especially children’s movies. They allow a lot of flexibility when writing because their own backstories are not always specified or if they are they lack detail which provides opportunity for writers like us to add in whatever kinds of details we want! All i can say is that when you’re writing any character, don’t forget to add a little bit of you in there, or it won’t be any fun for you~
