Who is better suited to hunting monsters than another monster? I'd say I fit the bill well enough. Call me Lupin. Every nasty beastie's worst nightmare. Mother, monster, Marine. Selective Indie OC. 18+ only, minors DNI.

“Start by pulling him out of the fire and hoping that he will forget the smell. He was supposed to be an angel but they took him from that light and turned him into something hungry, something that forgets what his hands are for when they aren’t shaking. He will lose so much, and you will watch it all happen because you had him first, and you would let the world break its own neck if it means keeping him. Start by wiping the blood off of his chin and pretending to understand. Repeat to yourself “I won’t leave you, I won’t leave you” until you fall asleep and dream of the place where nothing is red. When is a monster not a monster? Oh, when you love it. Oh, when you used to sing it to sleep. Here are your upturned hands. Give them to him and watch how he prays like he is learning his first words. Start by pulling him out of another fire, and putting him back together with the pieces you find on the floor. There is so much to forgive, but you do not know how to forget. When is a monster not a monster? Oh, when you are the reason it has become so mangled. Here is your humble offering, obliterated and broken in the mouth of this abandoned church. He has come back to stop the world from turning itself inside out, and you love him, you do, so you won’t let him. Tell him that you will never know any better. Pretend to understand why that isn’t good enough.”

"Look, whatever they told you, it's not ... well alright, it probably is true, but I can explain!"

"You know, I wish I could say that I was surprised, but, well...it is you, after all. Trying to save the world, one animal at a time."

A smiled crept up on Lupin's face, a brow arching upwards and she gave Thera a nod. She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned against the hood of her car, tail propping up on the gleaming surface.

"So...am I guessing you need some transport help, yeah? It might take me a hot minute, but I'm sure I can arrange something in the next few hours."

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

[Watch Thera with chin-hands waiting for this answer XD]

Lupin absolutely does not do well with idle hands and having nothing to do. She gets incredibly fidgety and downright irritable if it's during times where idleness is perfectly acceptable (downtime between hunts, for example). And this is putting it very mildly!

Fidget spinners or other fidget toys aren't exactly good alternate distractions, either. Lupin would probably break them because they're simply distractions, and not actually productive. She needs to be doing something--even if it's making breakfast for her kiddo or reading up old tomes about ancient monster hunting techniques, methods, or ingredients for slaying.

[Lupin is terrible at doing nothing, just watch her sit in a room and unravel lmfao]

[HEY BACK TO YOU TOO, BOO! :D]

5: On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

"Oh, a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Mostly the basics, like my keys, wallet, phone. But I also got this nifty little bag I can just dump stuff into. I got it from a witch in between hunts. She looked suspiciously like Mary Poppins, if she decided to dress vaguely medieval for a LARP event. It was a surreal encounter."

11: In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

"...Silas."

38: Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?

"If it gets in my face, I think we all know the answer to that. I typically take care of it myself, but if its something that I'm not equipped to handle, I let someone else who is do what needs to be done. And these days, that list is growing shorter."

41: Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

"It's...hard to say. Some days, I wonder if I even deserve the things I do have, but I know I do. It took me a long time to admit that. I worked hard for everything I have. I fought for it all. I try to do good for the sake of being able to wake up and tell myself, 'yes, I earned this' instead of 'I shouldn't have any of this'."

“Stop looking at me like that.”

His state remained immovable, as did his stare. Lupin pouted, lips puffing outward. Worry trickled into her, a valiant sieve that was ever present, always working.

“I said I was sorry. Did I actually hurt you? Let me see.”

Clawed hands cupped Alastor’s face as she inspected his face, but she knew no sign of her vicious, blindsided punch was present. It was long gone.

“It ain’t the hit that hurt, darlin’.” He finally rumbled softly. Lupin sighed, ears pressing backward.

“I did warn you it might have to get rough, considering it was a bar full of other werewolves. We needed that information. But I am sorry. I should’ve given you a bit more warning about how we got it.”

“‘A bit?’” Alastor repeated as he raised a brow in inquiry, although Lupin could detect the faintest hint of a smile threatening to slip free.

Lupin caught the slight lilt in his voice, the question of needing something…more. Her lips twitched as she sensed the mood lightening marginally. Her hands dropped from his face, one lightly brushing along his chest.

“Mmm. Maybe more than just a bit. I think I might owe you quite a lot for the scant warning.”

She peeked upward, lips curving into a crooked grin of triumph when she saw the faint smile on Alastor’s face.

“And how would you propose you do that?”

“Mmmm. I have a few ideas…”

Reblog for the day crowd.

Ask my muse anything about their sex life with one of the ships you’ve seen them with on my blog!!

If they haven’t “sealed the deal” yet with that muse, PROD them about it. ASK anything that is WAY TOO PERSONAL about their sexual relationship with that muse.
