Being clingy isn’t healthy

Being obsessively clingy to the point of ignoring other people and activities and only focusing on your significant other is not healthy.

this sounds like 80% of high school couples/first time daters. 

I would interject that this can also be a sign of someone being trapped in an emotionally abusive relationship, clinging to a significant other while they are "available", and straining to keep them before they inevitably push you away again. In this case I would agree that it's an unhealthy place in life to be, but I wouldn't be so quick to make such sweeping judgements. The context of each individual situation is important to consider.
