Okay tumblr, crunch time. - I have verdicts back on my laptop and I can't even slightly afford to get it fixed. The first repair shop I took it to turned out to be a con; they played me to the tune of £150 and had my laptop for a month without fixing it. Obvs I've complained. When I got it back I took it to a more legit place and it will cost in the region of £500+ to fix it, which I 100% do not have. I'm already in debt so I'm not planning on buying a new one for a few months. - this means I'll be mobile indefinitely, which is a pain in the ass when it comes to rp and tumblr in general - so, to all the people I've started plots with recently, or people I've been plotting with via message: I totally understand if you guys want to drop our plots/rps and I won't be offended if you do. Honestly, no hard feelings at all. I'm not in a place where I can be a great rp partner so I def won't judge you if you don't want to go there. So... yeah... /anticlimactic ending

#I've also had a stress headache/migraine for the past four days#so I've not been great at responding to people because all I do right now is work and take naps and drowsily watch b99#anyway#this feels like a dramatic goodbye post when it really isn't lol

I had the same problem of having to log into yahoo to log into a new rp account I made, and from what Tumblr support told me when I asked/complained about it, that's just how it is now. When you sign up for a new Tumblr account, it automatically signs you up for a yahoo account and you can't turn it off, get rid of it, etc. It's really stupid and obnoxious, and their response to me was that they are open to hearing more feedback on this issue, so let Tumblr know this is bullshit. (2/2) In the meantime, to my knowledge, there's no workaround. What I ended up doing was repurposing an old as balls rp account from like 5 years ago, but that won't work for everyone obvs. Sorry that this probably isn't helpful, but this is the info I have at this time. Tumblr needs to get their shit together.

thanks anon! i figured that it was a thing that came into play when yahoo bought tumblr... like, they bought the site, so you gotta log in through yahoo to use it. this is so ugly honestly wtf. i’d hoped there would be some sort of workaround but thank you for letting me know!!

i’m trying to remember any old accs i have but none come to mind because i tend to just delete accounts i’m not using ): or i get sporadic urges to spring clean my internet life and have ended up deleting accs i hadn’t used in a while. goddamnit.

I’d really, really like to play a female character in and out of rehabilitation due to alcoholism, struggling to get her shit together and continually -- accidentally -- letting everyone around her down. Inspired by Lip’s storyline in Shameless US, I guess? She could meet someone in a rehab group or AA meeting and they’d either be dragged into each other’s versions of hell or they’d help each other’s recovery. Or something. dkfhgifdg I’d play against a character of any gender, so f/m, f/f, f/nb, whatever (bonus points for actually letting me play against Jeremy Allen White tho).
