It is so, SO important that Steven Universe Future finally address Steven’s untreated psychological trauma from childhood. It makes a huge difference between this and the average cartoon. Also, anything involving Ronaldo is deeply traumatizing, I agree.
Fucking KUDOS to whoever wrote Dr. Maheswaran’s dialogue about mental health issues. It was very informative, but put in a way that children could easily understand it. That’s a great thing for kids to learn about.

Other than hundreds of hours of practice, was there anything else that helped you get better at scale and proportions?
If you’re new to drawing you might see this and go ????? there’s so many things happening at once. A basic drawing exercise is to just find the shape of the empty (negative) space. It helps train your eye to not rely on the details (which can confuse you) and judge distance correctly.
You can trace at first, but when you start drawing from reference you’ll find yourself making decisions like ‘does this line align with that other one’ or ‘does this seem too far’ and the more you do it the more you get a feel eventually for ‘this shape is maybe 2/3 of this other shape’. There’s loads of these exercises on the internet and it’s always one of the basic stuff in how to draw books.
So I was re-watching KHR and I found this! It’s on Episode 152 (The Boss’ Resolution) of the Arcobaleno Trials Arc.
Spoilers/More under the cut (for those who don’t know/haven’t watched the anime).
So Verde has the Arcobaleno as hostages and is using his Box Weapon Prototypes to get a reading on the 10th Gen’s flames. The monitor in the picture
shows the results he’s getting.
I found the results interesting because, even though the numbers fluctuate (which can’t be seen because this is a picture and also, maybe the flames fluctuate because they’re energy and pure energy doesn’t have a consistent wavelength? can someone confirm), they still stay at relatively the same level. And here are some other interesting things I noticed:
EDIT: Also, I literally just noticed this, but if you look closely at the top of the monitor in the pic, it says “Summary Monitor System of the Shinuki Force”.
“Shinuki” is phonetically similar to “Shi no Ki” which is the romaji of “Dying Will” lol.
Okay so I’ve been using this method for a few years now to download most of my music and apparently a lot of people don’t know how to do it so I thought I’d share. This method works for any working audio post on tumblr and you won’t lose any of the quality of the audio post like you do with some Youtube converters. This method only works for GOOGLE CHROME. I’m sure you can do it with other browsers, I just don’t know how. Chrome is free though so it shouldn’t be a problem. Okay so:
1. Open up tumblr and find the audio post(s) you want to download. (don’t press play yet!!)
2. RIGHT click over the center-ish of the audio post (mac users click control then click to right click)
3. Click “inspect element”
4. Click “network”
5. Click “size”
6. Click the play button on the audio post and let it play for a few seconds until the audio file shows up (you don’t have to listen to the whole thing).
7. Right click where it says “from cache” in the size column. This should be the audio file.
8. Click “open in a new tab”. A new tab with a black screen and the audio file should open.
9. Right click anywhere in the black screen, then click “save as”.
10. Save your file and enjoy!!
*PC users will need to drag the mp3 file from your downloads to iTunes; Mac users can just open the file after it has downloaded and it will automatically open in iTunes
**you can change the name of the song/artist/album/artwork after the file is in iTunes. Just right click then click “get info” and edit away!
I hope this was helpful!! I know this seems like a lot of steps but once you get the hang of it, it’s really fast and easy. :)
***UPDATE: IF YOU HAVE XKIT THERE IS AN EXTENSION THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DO THIS MUCH SIMPLER. IT’S CALLED “AUDIO DOWNLOADER” OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT :)
