the best thing about “crazy rich asians” was that you’d see them carrying little tupperware containers filled with food before they hit the road.
like when rachel’s mom gave her food for her flight, or when peik ling’s mom handed rachel’s mom some food for their supposed journey home. even when nick’s mom said she’d deliver some herbal soup to his hotel.
it’s the small things like these that made me sit back in the cinema and go, “yeah, this is home.”
