My love at its core is not disguised as entitlement or control.
It turns out that the kindest thing I could have done for myself was follow my heart with patience and care. Which, because I didn’t solely romanticize anyone or their love, this person and I naturally grew back together to continue our life.
It feels as though you may be projecting your damaged idea of love through codependency onto me, so I hope you find peace within yourself - and ultimately release the resentment you’ve carried for so long.
