How did the whole "Sam Link Lisp" come about?

Talked like that for fun and it made Kellin laugh. So I filmed whenever I talked like that.

Nope I'm with someone who wouldn't appreciate someone else being able to enjoy my face

Hey Sam, aspiring cinematographer here with a two part question. Just wondering at what point should I stop giving out my services for free and start charging for my work, even when it's for close friends? And then how much should I charge for these music videos? I've made a few music videos already for an artist and have a few more shoots lined up with other multiple artists who are all close friends of mine and I just dont know if or how I'm supposed to ask them to pay me

Never do work for free, even if for close friends. You are worth something. If you ever want to get paid for your service, start NOW. It'll help your career, because you can begin to understand that money IS apart of it. If you give them a price, $10,000 for example, the band understands you are worth $10,000. Now, they also expect $10,000 worth of a product, which means you HAVE to make a $10,000 product. This puts pressure on you, and pushes you to deliver a better product then you ever have before, or else you can say goodbye to making money with that service. If you can handle it, it will make you so much better.

It's been an interesting couple of months for Collapse Studios. Words cannot explain how happy I am to be moving forward into the next level of the company I created almost 3 years ago. There's not much more to say without explaining what it has become.  I am thrilled to announce that Collapse Studios now offers Audio Production. After working with established audio producers, I quickly picked up

on what I would need out of an audio producer to make Collapse Studios the perfect one-stop-shop for bands & record labels. Ladies & Gentlemen, I have found exactly that. The phenomenal Brendan Kyle Barone is now the head of our newest addition, Collapse Audio.  This brings me to our next announcement: The first audio track produced by Collapse Studios will be released on the ever-popular Punk Goes Pop [Volume 5] which will be available in stores & online on November 6th! Crown The Empire covers Maroon 5's "Payphone." We really enjoyed the process of it, and we can't wait to see where it takes the guys!  Along with the release, we decided to release something that showcases as much as what Collapse Studios can offer. That is why, when the song is released, we will be releasing a lyric video by Gabe Rembert & Myself, which includes original footage directed by myself.  Thank you all so much for the previous & future support. On behalf of Collapse Studios, I love everyone reading this, and I hope you are as excited as I am for the release! If you would like to shoot a music video, or produce music with Collapse Studios, email Brendan@Collapsestudios.com Your Friend, -Sam Link www.CollapseStudios.com
