guess who got the new animal crossing game?? and because i have nothing better to do, ive slowly been making my character look like jimbotnik.

I’m glad I finally have context for this legendary panel

okay but can we talk about his stammering right here for a second? Because I never noticed it before I found an SA2 filedump, moooostly because of the horrible audio mixing in the game. For context, this line comes form when Shadow realizes that Rouge is a spy who has been sent by the government to watch him and Eggman. For YEARS, because I didn’t hear his stammering, I thought he was just angrily saying things, but now that we can hear him falter on his words, you can hear that he’s very much hurt to discover this person who he THOUGHT was his friend was actually just some agent sent to spy on him. That the person he thought he was growing close with was instead just putting up a facade to win his trust. It fuckin hurts bro.

i noticed this too :o i already loved david humphrey’s performance in sa2 before the filedumps but all the slight, hardly detectable emotions he gives shadow just makes you appreciate it all the more, instead of the dark, emotionless anti-villan direction that his newer voice actors have been taking with him

another thing i noticed is that a lot of shadow’s lines are slightly slurred and not as accentuated as you might’ve made them out to be in the game, i think its a nice touch too
