I don't think Connecticut gets enough credit for how beautiful it is. When people think of "picturesque New England" most probably think of Cape Cod, Vermont's mountains, or NH's shoreline, but CT has just as much charm as any of those places. It's incredibly diverse, especially in places like the New Haven area where I live. So there's a lot of culture, a lot of art as well as support for it. People here are probably some of the best educated citizens in the country. And honestly, that's probably why diversity, art and culture are so prevalent here. People here are genuinely very sweet, while still being their own most authentic selves. The whole "kind, but not nice" thing about New England is pretty valid, and I love that.
