Everything you've done... I know now. For me, for Camelot, for the kingdom you helped me build. I want to say something I've never said to you before: thank you.

When I think about the fact that Merlin had to place Arthur’s copse on his death bed, my heart aches. Can you see how his fingers are crossed together, or how his armor and his cloak are perfect on his cold body? He wanted to give his king honour one last time. It must have been devastating for Merlin to do that. Because he didn’t use magic, he wanted to touch Arthur until the very end.
