Due to the fact I haven't been able to do much IC for Lucy on this blog I've decided to start from scratch with her, meaning this blog is no longer active. My new blog for Lucy is hoshinokipa! No threads or ships have been carried over but that doesn't mean I don't want to RP with any of my partners, it just means that everything has to be new!

A singleship blog means that only one pairing will be present on it and usually to only one specific muse, some people have AU's where they ship with the same character but with someone else's muse, if this is the case all main interactions that occur will revolve around that pairings universe. Of course not all interactions with other muses will be about the relationship but more often than not there will be some mention of it at the very least, just as it would in real life, SO this means that there is definitely going to mention of that pairing on that blog.

Now most people will tag any fanart, musings, relatable posts with the ship and/or verse name for that pairing but many people will not tag their threads because this pairing is part of the main verse, it's something that's going to be part of many things that aren't just direct interaction between the muses in the relationship.

For example NaLu, Natsu and Lucy being in a relationship would affect everyone around them, whether it be Gray making gagging noises if they kiss, Levy and Lucy having cute lunch dates discussing her relationship or even just how the pair interact now that they're together. It's going to impact everyone that is part of that verse in one way or another, even if it's just the fact they're always seen together, it won't go unnoticed.

So asking people to tag their RPs with the ship name would essentially result in A LOT of added tags to things that may not necessarily even have the main focus of the pairing, just a possible relationship mention. Also you need to keep in mind as well that some characters may seem 'ooc' to some because relationships take progress, the development that goes into them will most often than not mean someones muse will at a little differently. Just as all humans, muses are susceptible to change and you need to consider that before judging someone's portrayal harshly. We build our muses up from scratch, if they differ from canon it's because their experiences in any threads has made them that way. A character's portrayal does not have to be perpetually the same from the very beginning because they learn and grow just as humans do.

All in all if a pairing really makes you that uncomfortable then it is probably best to not follow singleship blogs with that pairing and it would also be nice if you could not judge RPers based on their portrayal.
