You know what… Take my $1.37… I want my PBS. Take my $.46… I am all for federal funding of art programs. Take my $.46… I love my museums, colleges, and libraries. Take my $.11… I support developing minority businesses. Take my $.66… I am for entrepreneurship and innovation. Take my $1.60… I want us to export more goods overseas. Take my $0.43… I would like to see more American manufacturing. Take my $0.88… I think community policing needs vast improvement. Take my $1.48… I support programs for women. Take my $1.55… I believe in due process for all. Take my $0.48… We need a civil rights division in the justice department. Take my $0.38… I think we need to defend our Mother Earth. Take my $0.03… I know more work needs to be done for climate change. Take my $8.95… because we need more sustainable energy. Take my $2.71… we should reduce our carbon footprint. If saving these programs means I’m out $22.36 a year, I’m good with contributing my $.07 a day to save American jobs and these federal programs.

Also all of those programs make more money than they losefor the country as a whole 

The purpose of cutting funding for PBS, art programs, and museums isn’t to help taxpayers, it’s to undermine anything that threatens the right’s cultural hegemony.

It’s also to encourage the cessation of free thinking and to hinder the reach of science and literacy. It’s important to remember that Nova and Nature air exclusively on PBS. Both encourage teaching and learning about all parts of science, anthropology, history, geology and biology. They are very big on evolution which we all know most Christians hate. So remember that.

being jewish is not only a religious practice, you can be ethnically jewish. 

short answer: ethnic jews are indigenous to the levant, they’re one of the ethnic groups indigenous to palestine (i dont claim current ‘israel’ as legitimate for an array of political reasons I dont want to get into). 

long answer: After jews were chased out of ancient israel (or biblical israel) by the romans some 2000 years ago and became a diaspora they ended up living in different countries (obviously) and eventually ended up intermixing with the local population they ended up living with, which is why now there’s different jewish ethnic groups such as the mizrahim (jews with middle eastern/north african/central asian admixture), the sephardim (jews with roots in medieval spain/jews with spanish admixture), the beta israel (jews with ethiopian admixture), the cochin jews (jews with indian admixture),the  kaifeng jews (jews with Chinese admixture) etc…. also this is why by the way jews GENERALLY SPEAKING don’t look the same even though they’re part of the same ethnic groups (((though that said although again generally speaking there’s no one ‘jewish look’ because of all the admixture jews have as a result of being a diaspora for so long we’ve grown to deem long noses and ‘jewfroes’ to be stereotypical jewish features))

-also this is just a sidetone but the only reason I used the word ‘jewfro’ is because that’s the only way I feel people would understand what i meant when I said curly hair were deemed to be a  stereotypical jewish feature, though i can guarantee anyone reading this this isn’t a word i normally use. 

- also YET another sidetone but I’m 1/10th jewish (mizrahi) and although that’s definitely not enough for me to claim being ethnically jewish I do still want to post my results (from this ancestry test I took a while back) as proof (I guess) to all the people who constantly say otherwise that ‘jewish’ is in fact more than a religion

I want to say that with how ridiculed stereotypical jewish features usually are no matter how white passing some ethnic jews may be if you ask me it doesn’t mean that they’re white. its a guarantee that neo nazis don’t see ethnic jews as such, ashkenazim included. plus I remember reading this study that said that a full ashkenazi jew is on average 50 percent european and 50 percent middle eastern so even biologically, really, ethnic jews not being white is a fact.
