One beer wouldn’t hurt. Even without her tolerance built to the levels it had been previous to the outbreak, the small amount of liquor wouldn’t affect her all too much if it did at all. The thin woman sighed and reached for the bottle.  Her eyes passed between it and the corpse before a small grimace found her lips. It disappeared as quickly as it appeared as she brought the beer to her maw and took a swig, immediately feeling a mixture between rejuvenation and nausea due to the smell of the alcohol. “Thank you.” A pause. “How long have you been in the area?” Audrey hadn’t even noticed him until she’d happened upon him that day and for that, she felt somewhat foolish.

Micheal sniggered as he watched the woman's reaction, he patted the corpses head in a mocking fond like manner, "My little buddy annoyin' you dear?" He nodded, taking a sip of his own, "Don't go thankin' me too much or I might regret it, I ain't one for kind actions." He pursed his lips, "A day or two? I don't tend to stick to one place. Movin' here and there suits me just fine."

"Well, it’s rare to find someone in this day and age who actually has beer." He smiles as he removes his backpack and place it on the floor before grabbing the beer and opening it as he took a sip. "God i’ve missed that."

"I'd be one of them buggers that made it sure by every means necessary I had ten cans at least, when all them raids broke out." Micheal watched his face as he took the first sip of the beer, "Hell, my stock is pretty much out. I dunno what I'll do without the stuff."

“Is that… please tell me that isn’t real.”

"As real as the hair on my head and the corpse layin' beside me. Are you gonna' take it or just carry on standin' there"

”Never been much of a drinker,” Dani shrugs and offers a smile “I do appreciate the offer though. If he wants it, he’s more than welcome to have it, won’t hear me complainin’ much.”

"Suit yourself." Micheal mocks the shrug, "Ouch, don't go appreciatin' it too much, I've managed to drink my only supply of the stuff on ma' own, it's gone to the head more so than normal, I ain't normally so generous." He takes a sip of his own can, not paying so much attention to the girl but the sealed can of beer, after some deliberation he put it back in his rucksack, he turned to her, "May as well save that for the next time shit gets real."

Intentional loss of control // Micheal and Gianna

Gianna twitched. “Don’t call me that.” She said sternly. She watched as he walked back and she pulled her bag off her back. Pulling out an un opened gum pack and shoving a piece in her mouth. Looking up hearing him approach the door once more.

"Can you really help anyone in this world?" She asked softly. "I should be asking you. You look pretty beat up if you ask me." Her lips pulling upon one side as she began to take a few steps back. "D-don’t come near me."

"Well, I ain't got much else to call ya, girl." He taunted.

"You're right about tha', you sure as hell can't but it's not like people could be helped before. Just takes a fucked up scenario to make the blind see." He laughed, "I'm just fine and dandy, got all I need to keep it that way. I don't need no help from no one." He raised an eyebrow, "As much as I like pretty little things I ain't in no position to come anywhere closer than nesecary." He smirked, eyes darting at the women as he walked closer, "Do not flatter yourself self mam," He pulled out a bottle of water a gulped several mouthfuls before pouring the rest over his head and hair to get rid of the blood, blood that had been collecting from several days. And not just from walkers. "I've always planned on makin' a move round outta here." His shoulder brushed past her but he paused and turn around, "Now where are my manners, are you thirsty, girl?"

"Still don’t think walkers are the best company," Taylor chuckled lightly as she looked over at him. "You seem just fine to me," she commented as she took a long drag off of the cigarette. It wasn’t often when she smoked but at this point, anything to get her mind off of the world in its current state.

He raised his eyebrows slightly at her comment, but did not say anything other than filter out a small smile. Micheal finished the last few possible drags of cigarette before stubbing it out and chucking it on the side. "Wheres good for supplies round these parts? I gotta stock up before headin' out."

"Whatever floats your boat," Taylor chuckled before slipping the cigarette between her lips. "It’s better than havin’ a walker for company, don’t ya’ think?" She muttered as she looked over at him. "Is there any reason that I need to think twice?" She raised an eyebrow as she watched him with big brown eyes.

"Oh I dunno," Micheal said taking a drag before snapping his tone slightly, "They're easily silenced." He allowed the still air to hang over them before he smiled as sweet as a man like him could, "Well, not if you supply that reason. But you seem just fine to me, Doc." He didn't look away from her watch, only moving to raise his fag to his mouth.

Intentional loss of control // Micheal and Gianna

Gianna watched silently. Waiting to see what the man would do. Not like she cared. She assumed she would have to kill both of them anyways. Her hand on one arm, and the other gripping a bloody knife, she smiled. He was strong. Could handle himself. Maybe he had something all the other didn’t. Maybe a brain.

The brunette jumped a little at his voice. Not expecting him to talk. Her steel blue hues glued to him. Her feeble body rocking back and forth as she thought of something to say. “Not exactly. It sucked actually.” She said in a soft tone. The girl was tired and hadn’t talked to anyone in weeks since her last partner died. And tried to eat her.

"Can I have my money back?" Gianna teased.

"Sucked?" He repeated, spitting on the floor, looking down at the mangled mess of organs, if you even could define it as them anymore. "Hell, aint much else I could do, sweetheart."

He turned to grab his rucksack, looking back smirking at her play, "Ran myself into a tough ol' crowd." He reemerged from the shed door, rucksack over his should and of course a cigarette in his mouth. He took it out and ran his tongue along his teeth. "Can I help you lil' lady?" He drawled as he began to walk towards the clearing.

"—Hm, true. At least you’re not insane or tryin to kill me. You know, when I pictured the apocalypse happening, I didn’t expect zombies. I expected the world to go into chaos yes but zombies? Now that’s a bit cliche. My question is this, what will happen when every human is either dead or turned and the walkers run out of food?"

image

"Ouch see don't go countin' on that dimples. What the hell you askin' me for? You think I care to think more than two seconds about any of that shit?"

"You can call me Taylor," the blonde muttered before looking around. "I guess havin’ company is a little bit better than bein’ here alone," she rolled her eyes before letting out a sigh. "One of those cigarettes can count as a payment, I guess," she chuckled.

image

"I'm just dandy with Doc," He smirked, eyebrow raising at her next comment, "You don't wanna think twice bout' invitin' some stranger of that fucked up street to be company?" He flicked a cigarette out the box and held it to her, lighter at the ready in his hand. His eyes scanned over her face, in that menacing, devious way hes looked at people ever since he was a boy.
