@thefourtwentytimes You are allowed your opinion. You are allowed to give me the facts, which you have and which I agree with, but you cannot say one hairstyle belongs to a certain group of people and then turn around and say that I AM the one who spreads racism and hate (your followers did attack me with white racial slurs by the way but notice how I did not call anyone any names? Because I'm above that. But I'm white so it's not racism, right?). At my age, I realize people are allowed to style and dress the way they please without discrimination. But you do not see it this way. You believe you are the victim here which was not my intention when I styled my hair. I am an open minded individual who supports people. You are not. Maybe I'm wrong, but cultural appropriation is a form of racism against anyone who doesn't fit a certain culture. So they are bashed for it. I loved my afro hairstyle and I will continue to call it that because, by definition, that's what it is. I'm glad you have educated me on the afro, I really am. I've learned a lot but don't attack me and ask your followers to attack me for how I chose to style my hair. Oh and no, I don't have C4 hair but I'm sure that is obvious. Have a good rest of your day, ma'am.

Rag curls turned my short ass hair into an afro👽

Your hair is gorgeous but that is not an afro honey.

I don’t want to get into a whole bunch of push and pull on the subject but I just want to say that in order to have an afro you need to have the hair that goes with the DNA it’s not a style. C4 hair get you an afro and sorry bae you don’t have C4 type hair.

I understand I do not have the “hair that goes with the DNA” of an afro. For God sakes, I’m as white as cocaine. But uh, I called my overly-curled-brushed-out hair an afro because that’s what I saw it as. You really got offended over this and had the need to point out common sense? Lol. Let me be.

first off @coloradogoddess your type of Cultural Excusing Racial BS is WAYYYYY Over on my time. I’m 60 and your brush off, coupled with Racial and Cultural Appropriation is so disrespectful; added to the fact  that you tried to come back for me - after I GAVE YOU A PASS.. You Know thats’ a whole lot of wrong.

First you come with Racial and Cultural Denegration / a pseudo negative appropriation of Afro Hair; sigh,,   then you return with White Privilege to Dismiss Me. what are we gonna do with you lil miss White as Cocaine (to requote you). yeah.. be you  - @coloradogoddess

But  KNOW what you thought was innocent racial joking behaviour was shared with millions who may have been just as offended as I was.

@coloradogoddess   if you have never been forced to adapt your hairstyle to support your earning a living; or for your own personal survival; Then quite clearly  you don’t have the experience or currency to discuss the issue.

To be sure tho, we want you to go get a mirror and watch this video then tell us,

is your hair texture really a 4c ?

The Facts are demonstrated above. Clearly everyone can see you are butt hurt and pissy because You took our feeling harrassed as a joke. Why -  because YOU @coloradogoddess ARE A RACIST.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE

now go run tell dat @coloradogoddess

why do Black bloggers have to suffer this type of bs all the time ? some of these neo mayo saltines got some real extra stupid in they skinny jeans.

Af·ro ˈafrō/ noun a thick hairstyle with very tight curls that sticks out all around the head, like the natural hair of some African American people. A hairstyle. Just as straight hair is a hairstyle. Just as curly hair is a hairstyle and just as dreadlocks are a hairstyle. @thefourtwentytimes I was in no, way, shape or form being racist towards any one. But the fact that you think a single hairstyle belongs to a certain group of people with a certain "DNA", that is the definition of racism, is it not? I really don't understand this cultural appropriation shit. I really don't. Is it just like white people getting offended that some African Americans straighten their hair even though their hair isn't naturally straight? I don't understand the need to get offended at someone else's choice of hairstyle.
