Do any of the 35ers have an obviously chosen favorite parent? or is it a more like a 'goes to this one for this and goes to the other for that' kinda thing?
Vanessa is her mother’s daughter even if they fight a good deal. She’s the Boo boos and she never lets Syd forget it. But in all seriousness, V and Syd are close as hell. They tell each other EVERYTHING.
Kellan is pretty split. It just depends on who is closest that day.
Chloe and Kelley are really close, total buddies, but Hope is definitely more of her “Mom.” Like Chloe tells Kelley everything about her day or what shenanigans she got into. But if she’s really in a jam or just needs someone to vent to Chloe immediately goes to Hope.
KAO is her fathers daughter on most days. When it comes to soccer or people she’s interested in or a shoulder to cry on, HAO is the go to parent.
Hallie is pretty split but she leans a little more towards Ali when she’s sad or needs someone to cuddle. Hal goes to Ashlyn when she wants someone to give her advice or to go play outside with.
Besides their parents, which 15er do each of the 35ers look up to most? (not necessarily in an auntie/closeness way, but more-so in an awe-inspiring/role-model way)
Kellan is enamored with Morgan Brian. The way Moe performed at such a young age is something Kellan has always aspired to.
Chloe really wants to be Ashlyn when she’s a real adult. The way Ash carries herself, the confidence and self respect she has is something Chloe wants for herself.
Vanessa thinks of Heather O'Reilly like she’s a god. Heather’s humor and her authenticity is what draws Vanessa
Whitney Engen is Hallie’s role model forever and always. Whit is just one of those human beings who has earned everything given to her. Hal loves Whit’s work ethic and her ability to never give up.
KAO looks up to Captain American Christie Rampone. Cap’s legacy and her ability to do it all inspires Kait to do all of that as well.
I know you explained Chloe's, and I can guess KAO's, but do any other 35ers have a significance behind their number? ALso, who wore #9 as the bridge between HAO and KAO?
The bridge between HAO and KAO was a young lady we all know as Sam Mewis.
Kellan’s number is Lauren Holiday’s old number
Hallie’s is Ashlyn’s number because the name on the back of her jersey is just H. Krieger instead of the full Harris-Krieger

What are each of the 35ers plans for the holidays? Is it always set in stone or does it change year to year?
The Morgan-Heath family switches off between Morgan Christmas and Heath Christmas every year. Thanksgiving is spent with the Dwyer’s, Shilling’s(A-Rod’s fam), Holiday’s, Wambach’s and O'Hara-Solo fam.
Kelley and Hope take the girls to Georgia every Christmas because Christmas is a big freaking deal with the O'Hara’s.
Ali and Ash do Christmas with Ali’s family, Easter with Ashlyn’s, and Thanksgiving with HAO, Whitney, Broon, Kling, Morgan, Presston and their families.
HAO and Dave take the twins to Chapel Hill each Christmas and spend a few weeks there.
Syd and Dom play the holidays by ear because they have three different countries to possibly be in.
But the whole team spends the 4th of July at Jill Ellis’s house and have a BBQ and an annual 5v5 pick up tournament.
What are the most obvious of each of the 35ers traits that they get from their parents? What about traits they've picked up from their 15er aunts? Which family of the 35ers travels most (whether it's vacations or holidays or just to see each other)
The O'Hara-Solo family travels all the time. It’s how they bond, Kelley and Hope are complete road trip parents too.
As for traits, Kaitlan has HAO’s sense of responsibility. She does anything asked of her for the greater good of the team. From Becky, Kait got her leadership skills.
Kellan has Tobin’s laid back personality and Alex’s raspy voice. Lauren passed down her grace, Kellan really tries to be gracious and humble like her Aunt Chen.
Vanessa got Syd’s sense of humor. She loves pranks and making people laugh. Amy gave Vanessa her determination, they’re both very “fight me” kind of people.
Chloe has Hope’s stubbornness and Kelley’s goofiness. The kid is just a ham. From Kling Chloe definitely got her sense of adventure and spontaneity.
Ali gave Hallie her sweetness, like the kid is such a freaking gem, and Ashlyn passed down her competitiveness. Hallie also knows she got her soccer smarts from Christen. They both have a really keen sense on reading the game.
What were the 15ers weddings like?
Ali and Ash’s was one huge beach party in Florida. All of the drinks and all of the dancing.
Alex and Tobin’s was a laid back family and teams only affair in Portland on a rooftop
Kelley and Hope got married at Kell’s parents house in Georgia with just their families and then they had a wild reception on a party yacht in Seattle.
Which of the current USWNT ships (Talex, Krashlyn, O'Solo, etc.) are Hallie and Kellan most like?
Probably Talex, they’re best friends turned girlfriends with long periods of pining and passive aggressive jealousy mixed in.
Do you have a few head cannons for the Kellan/Vanessa friendship?
Kellan and Vanessa have a dynamic like Ashlyn and Whitney. On paper they shouldn’t work, Kellan is more laid back and easy going while Vanessa is a high maintenance princess.
But they understand each other inside and out. Vanessa knows when to tell Kellan what she needs to hear. And Kell isn't afraid to tell V she's being extra dramatic. They give each other what they need and not necessarily what they want

-Chloe and Hallie have dinner and do homework at Julie and Christen’s home in Palo Alto every Sunday
-Hadley and Christen, both early risers, make breakfast for JJ and Livy every morning. JJ and Liv make dinner.
-Christen and Julie go on a Date Weekend every month, leaving the little girls with Press’s parents, and just soak each other in for three days.
-Every night the Press-Johnston family, after dinner and baths, get into Julie and Christen’s bed and read stories until the girls fall asleep. They’re currently working through the Junie B. Jones series

Ok, question.. How did Chloe and Hallie become as inseparable as they are? I LIVE for their friendship but I'm just curious to know how they came to be as thick as thieves.
Chloe and Hallie are like, for lack of a better comparison, Kelley and Christen.
O'Press’s friendship is one where they round each other out, bringing some of the other’s more recessive qualities to light. That’s exactly how Chloe and Hallie are.
Where Chloe is brutally honest, Hallie is more thoughtful. Where Hal is passive, Chloe is assertive and so on and so forth.
The girls also spent a lot of time together while their moms trained, being so close in age kind of gave them a built in pal for all National team events.

-Hallie’s a classically trained pianist and Kellan is OBSESSED with hearing Hallie play so Hal plays for her for hours
-Kellan knows a weird amount of poetry and she sometimes drop lines of some obscure Rilke poem at random times & it makes Hallie swoon
-Their first family dinner with both of their parents was a disaster. Alex and Ali tried launching into the sex talk while Tobin and Ashlyn tried to be equally threatening and it was just a damn mess
-Ashlyn takes Kellan Christmas shopping for Hallie, showing her the ropes on buying gifts for their favorite Chip
-Alex teaches Hallie how to make Kellan’s favorite dessert so she can surprise her with it on a random trip to Portland
what are Kellan and Hallie's best/favorite memories together? (when they were kids or whatever)
They grew up together in Orlando for their first seven years. So really that entire time, playing in one of their backyards, learning to surf with Tobin and Ashlyn or hanging out on the sidelines of the Pride pitch together.
As long as they were together, it didn’t really matter.

Okay so these fuckers are highly competitive and the weeks leading up to the Reign/Thorns match is INTENSE.
-Hallie is a little shit on Twitter and responds to anything the Thorns post about the game with reaction gifs. She’s worse than the Dash
-Kellan tries to work in little jabs at Hallie in any pregame interview. “Hallie Harris-Krieger is the least of our problems” etc.
-They don’t speak to each other the week of the match
-During the actual match, you can hear them shit talking each other the ENTIRE time. It gets bad but then they have Chloe backing Hallie’s claims up and Anger’s kid Serena backing up Kellan and it’s just always a rough and rowdy game.
