To be a woman that loves women and only women is an awesomely powerful gift. To be a lesbian is to have a unique history of the resilience of love to survive. To be a lesbian is to be worthy of love. To be a lesbian is to be worthy of living, to be worthy of taking up space, to be worthy and so so deserving, to thrive and triumph and grow. To be a lesbian is not a sentence, and anyone who says otherwise should be clocked in the mouth.
