it’s so frustrating (and heartbreaking) to see so many writers going on indefinite hiatus / deleting their blogs because they are not motivated to write anymore. worst of all: people would always be like ‘no why are you leaving we don’t want you to do so :(’ but they were nowhere to be seen in our notifications beforehand. the lack of support on this platform is a huge issue and it’s a shame that content consumers don’t get the hint when writers have been waving the red flag for months. please support creators by rebbloging their posts, interact with them by leaving a few tags, a comment or an ask! if you’re too shy then hit that anon button and you’re good to go. show them that their works matter and you enjoy their blog, because when the decision to leave is made, it’s already too late.

Your feedback is the currency fanfiction writers are paid in.

Bubble Wrap [Dylan O’Brien] Prologue

a/n: Oh wow… It’s been a really long time, huh? To be honest, I don’t really know what I’m doing here or if I should be posting anything at all. This is just one of the unfinished drafts I had sitting. Well, we’ll see how it’s gonna go, right? Hahaha I have no idea. Help. So… I’m kinda back (?) and… Enjoy!

The time has come to say goodbye The sun is setting in the sky The truth turned out to be a lie It’s over, over Hum yourself a lullaby This is the end but baby don’t you cry

Y/N kept staring at the back windshield, her eyes never leaving the street behind her, the life she was giving up, the memories she was supposed to move on from. She kind of expected him to run after the car, begging her father to slow down and stop so he could tell her it had all been a mistake and that they should work it out, that there was no need of them to go their separate ways, that they were going to manage the long-distance relationship, but she knew he wouldn’t. They had promised each other they weren’t going to do that kind of thing; they would let the other go and live the life they were supposed to and if, in the future, they were to meet again, then so be it. But for now, it was their time to say goodbye.

It didn’t mean it hurt any less and Y/N knew it. She felt like her heart was being ripped out of her chest slowly and painfully. It was cliché and she knew it, but she couldn’t stop the feeling, even if she knew, from the start, that their days were numbered. Every step they took led them towards where they were now, towards their break up, and yet, she couldn’t regret any single decision she had ever made. That was how they had gotten closer, how their relationship blossomed, how they grew up, and how they decided that each other’s happiness was far more important than anything else. They were young, they lived with their emotions running freely. Did she love him? Most likely. Did he love her? It was possible. But they were too young to know it for sure. It could be something, it could be nothing.

Anonymous asked:

like your blog but no offense how are you on Tumblr in ur late 20s?

Good question anon! Here’s my secret: the old folks home lets us out for an hour of water aerobics every day and while the other residents are huffing and puffing like a bunch of suckers I’m off to the side of the pool with everything I need for posting quality content to Tumblr Dot Com.
