Is it alright if I ask a couple Buffy questions? Do think that Buffy ever truly loved Spike? Was it just different then the way she loved Angel? Also would you ever do some Buffy reviews on hiatus because I would for sure enjoy reading them :) thanks for your blog, I've been behind on Arrow this season but have stayed up to date through your blog.
Y’all you can ALWAYS ask me Buffy questions. Yes, I think Buffy loved Spike. I do not believe she was IN love with Spike. There’s a big difference and Spike understood that.
It was incredibly different than the way she loved Angel. Spike challenged Buffy in different ways. He understood the darkness inside her in ways no one else could, but Angel was her future. Her soul mate. The person she was destined to be with, but the world had other plans. But I also loved that Buffy knew she had a love of growing to do as a person before she was ready for Angel, but when that time came… yes. Angel was her choice. The hope between them both is that someday the world would allow them to be together. That’s what gave them each the strength to keep fighting.

I can't confirm or deny this at all, but why do you think they don't get along? I've seen CC speak well of Sarah - and how much SMG helped her as an actress. Plus, they seemed fine in the reunion?
It’s a feeling I have. I know they used to get along. SMG and CC have previously hung out in the late 90′s and even attended the Creative Arts Emmy’s together...but I know that they are one of the few that don’t follow each other on social media. They both follow pretty much everyone else from that BtVS inner circle of core cast regulars (excluding people like Julie Benz, Clare Kramer, etc.).
Anytime that a mutual friend posts a picture of one of them, the other seems to avoid it like the plague. Notable examples of this include DB’s reunion photos (when it’s DB/SMG, Charisma avoids it; when it’s DB/CC, Sarah avoids it; when DB references SMG on IG photos, Twitter feeds, etc. Charisma avoids it), Tom Lenk’s Lenk Lewks (same situation), etc. I know they interacted on the reunion special, but I get more of a vibe that it was because they had to, not because they wanted to. I think that what was probably a friendship (though not as close as SMG/Aly once were) drifted once CC moved to the spin-off.

I need someone to confirm whether SMG and CC actually like each other? I’ve been speculating for years, but my gut says no. I think they tolerate each other and while I do think they probably did like each other at one point, I don’t think they do now. SOMEONE CONFIRM THIS.
