Now that refugees are being denied entry to the United States, I’m sure it would make them feel better if you would just explain to them that your “protest” was more important than their lives. If you didn’t vote just tell them how “both candidates were bad.” I’m sure they’ll understand.

It’s not just refugees. Immigrants with green cards and H-1B visas, even if they have lived and worked in the United States legally for decades, cannot re-enter the country once they leave.

Like someone shot up a really popular black/latinx gay club and CNN is talking about the shooter’s connections to ISIS like I’m honestly trying to not vomit rn these people literally have zero respect and are using our deaths as a way to attack Islam 

I don’t really understand why people are trying to reach so hard with the radical Islam connection. There’s more than enough reason to already oppose and detest ISIS, there’s no incentive to hijack this tragedy to push an agenda.

It’s not like there is some group of rational thinking people out there on the fence about ISIS, but implicating them in this massacre might just be the push needed to convince them that ISIS is deplorable.

It really comes down to whether you’re prepared to vote for a man who believes climate change is a hoax created by the Chinese in order to sabotage American manufacturing. There is a presidential candidate who genuinely subscribes to that conspiracy theory in the year 2016.

If somehow you can manage to get past the racism, sexism, and fascist flirtations there’s still a guy behind it all that wants to build environmental policy around the destruction of the species.

Apparently the racist, sexist, and ultranationalist rhetoric of Trump isn’t grave enough to give up on the anti-establishment “fuck you” that a vote against Hillary would provide. I don’t think sticking it to the man, corporate powers and lobbyists, is worth tolerating a president for four years who casually flirts with ideas of religious registration and identification.

I know it’s noble and edgy to “revolt against plutocracy,” but this shitshow has far greater consequences than just shaking up politics.

Donald Trump doesn’t believe in global warming. In fact, he thinks it’s a hoax fabricated by the Chinese to sabotage us. Since the preservation of your country obviously doesn’t mean shit to you, maybe the preservation of the species can appeal to you. 100% of mainstream Republicans deny climate change and the threat it presents, oh wait, Kasich acknowledged it but just doesn’t think we should do anything about it because people need coal jobs.

The GOP isn’t even on the political spectrum anymore. They’re so far gone and irredeemable to the point they’re destructive to the species. These are the people you are willing to put into power to prove a point.
