Day 5 #letsgetflexy Yoga Challenge Paschimattanasana / Intense Forward Fold For tomorrow, if hamstrings are tight try using a strap. Tip: don't round the spine. Lengthen with a flat back first. Pivot from the hips and lift the chest. Using a strap try holding this posture without rounding over. You will lengthen the hamstrings more effectively. Day 4 #letsgetflexy Yoga Challenge Upward facing dog (or Sphinx pose) Updog can be hard for a lot of people. Lowering from chaturanga and keeping thighs off the ground takes arms and core strength. If you aren't quite there yet try Sphinx pose to help strengthen the back and core. It will also help with your spine flexibility. For advanced options check in with my cohost @kinoyoga πŸ’—. One winner of #goddessleggings πŸ’™announced DAILY on @aloyoga 's page so make sure you are following them and posting to qualify! Tomorrows pose can be modified in many ways. In this video I show a few of my favorite options. Sliding the legs out and arms under can be easier on the knees and allow you to still get the benefits of the stretch.
