Back by popular demand - WINTER!! Actually, because winter is quickly approaching, stray and feral cats desperately need shelter to survive the cold weather. If you can’t take in a neighbourhood homeless cat, please make these shelters for them. They are easy, inexpensive and life-saving. If you are in the GTA area, the Toronto Humane Society has a workshop once per month where you can help make the shelters with other people trying to help and/or purchase the finished shelters for only $15. Please share so that we can alleviate the suffering of these sweet animals.

reblog and help a kitty mama out <3 Hello! I’m trying to gather funds for my kitty Nibbler. With two pricey vet visits, and wanting to invest in an aerokat and meds for her I’m seeking to raise a bit of money! Please check out my storenvy to help me raise funds for my asthmatic cat. I’ve also shared a video on my fb page showing what a cat is like during an asthma attack as well. I had no idea kitties could have asthma, and assumed it was hairballs, because it was faint, and didn’t abstruct her way of life. However since moving out of a city to a suburban area that has so much irritants, and the stress of a move made it clear it was not hairballs.... I did not wait to seek treatment once I researched asthma for cats, and my new vet did not accept carecredit. I did not have pet insurance and had to cover it on my own card- however I personally have a huge student loan debt to pay each month and cannot afford to pay for this on top. I appreciate any help!

As many of you know, I work with Anjellicle Cats, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization based in NYC. Hiccup had some complications after his amputation surgery (of his back leg) and we need help covering his hospitalization costs. On Friday, poor lil’ Hiccup began to have seizures, which they believe were related to an antibiotic reaction. He’s now in the care of a specialty neurologist and his prognosis is good, but we have taken on SO MANY emergency cases lately, we really need help with this. He’s spending one more night in the hospital and hopefully that will be all, and then he will be back with me! 
More of Hiccup’s story is on the chip-in page. Thank you so, so much. Even if you can’t donate, please do reblog. We really need all the help we can get. Kitten season has begun, and unfortunately, Hiccup is the beginning of many emergency kitten cases we will take on. Hospitalization is one of our greatest costs and we can only keep taking on these kinds of cases with thanks to our generous donors.

Truth here, I turn 54 in a few weeks. I have struggled with a lot in that time. What I want to say to young ladies be yourself truly. For years I tried to fit into that “soccer mom”, PTA mom conformity and nearly and literally killed myself doing so. I have learned to look beyond the sagging chin and crows feet and embrace who I am. Eccentric and unique.
