long time since last activity, I know, but I really feel the need to say a quick word about last week events, aka SERIOUSLY A STRAY BULLET?AGAIN?
I really don’t have the necessary verbal skills to explain in another language how I feel about lexa’s death or argument the deficiency and ignorance of such a poor writing. I guess we’re all feeling the same way, so...
What hurts the most is the way this whole thing has been handled, since the writers were pimping out loud lexa as a carachter and lexa as a part of clexa, baiting so many fans and followers that finally had a strong leading woman they could relate to. were they really so blind about the outcome? was it so unconceivable that people would feel hurt in real life? I was in the glee fandom, so I know what a shitty writing is...but here we've reached a new level of being desrespectful. even dangerous. for me this is the worst death of a character, since Dana was chaikened.
television is a powerful media, and tv shows are so popular because you can relate to characters. for me they were and are like a giant door that allows me to interact with people all over the world. my god, that's a beautiful power! if you are a writer, you have responsibilities, it's not just about your fucking egotistic idea.
Turns out, even in shitty and painful moments, sparkling lights are out there. LGBTQ community came together for a bigger deal, raising funds (34.000 $ !!!!!) for the trevor project. Here's the link.
Keep going girls! You're doing something real!
Thank you for your time. Reshop Heda, you were a hell of a woman.
