Modern AU. The Veterans go ice skating, Hanjii keeps clinging to Levi causing them both to fall mutliple times, and Mike and Erwin find it so amusing that they believe it’s appropriate to laugh like idiots. Too bad Levi doesn’t agree and very politely asks Big Ass Tree #1 to take care of his woman.

Needless to say, Zacharias is fairly good at handling his clumsy girlfriend.

And man if u wanna have Hanji as agender I’m not going to be mad at that or anything and I’m sure isayama didn’t say that for it to become a source of friction or drama in the series. 

Just accept that people see Hanji differently and get over it.

It wasn’t exactly uncommon for her, but when she had something that was eating at her mind, or required her full attention, Hanji was known for skipping sleep. The will power of the scientist was her greatest weapon. Able to push past the tiredness to focus on what needed to be done. This time was no different. The faster it was completed the better chances her friends had for survival against the beasts. 

Having two for her viewing, Hanji camped outside with them, sat by a fire with a blanket to keep her warm, “I have to study these two. Day and night. We need to know how titans work to be able to beat them” Hanji murmured, sipping from her cold mug.
