HIATUS NOTICE

As you all can see, I haven’t been online for a long while. Frankly, Kadence’s muse died and I honestly don’t feel comfortable being on this particular blog and this particular dashboard anymore. Consequently, I’ve gotten busier with getting ready to move for college. Shopping, packing, along with Ramadan has left me no time to roleplay. On the 4th of July, I’ll be traveling to Egypt and I’ll get busy with college stuff, and I probably won’t have internet access either. That being said, this is an open hiatus notice. I don’t know when I’ll be willing and able to be online here, or if I’ll ever be. Yeah, that’s pretty much it. - Yasmin

 "Yes, Kadence, I am going to sit and read for the rest of the year.“ He grumbled to himself, resisting the urge to put his long legs to chance and jog his way away from her. "I want to patroll. Why do you need to know? Ran out of material to make jokes from? You can’t just use the faction I was born into? Or maybe you should use my lack of tattoos and piercing? Ooh, I have a good one, how about my general incompetence?” He ducked into the corridors leading towards the transfer’s room. “Don’t you need to go draft some new jokes, I just gave you a hell of a lot of material.”

Kadence started at him curiously until he was done with his childish rant, before a smile curled on  her lips, “I want to patrol too.” Kadence nodded once, “As a matter of fact, my dad is one of the superior fence guards - he used to be a city patrol as well.” Kadence turned to Alec with a cheeky grin, “Maybe I’ll get to make jokes about how the factionless will undoubtedly make you piss your pants.” She taunted, though her tone was still playful. Her eyes then drifted over his face and along the walls of the transfer’s quarters. “Huh. Pretty much like ours, really. Except it’s bland. Can’t you transfers decorate, at least?”

Let’s out a small laugh nodding slightly to her words. Her way would only piss a person off but he knew he wouldn’t be coming back. Not for a while at least. And if Carter could have his way never. He could tell though by talking to her he had thrown her off in some small way. He normally didn’t talk to the workers. He either came her for business or a quick show. Tonight apparently, a little of both.
By the time the manager shows up Carter can’t help but laugh when he starts to give a reason to why he wasn’t around. Shaking his head he didn’t even bother to say anything. He’d deal with it later. For now he was more worried about making sure the brown haired female in front of him found her way home okay.
                            ❝ Do you need a ride or can I walk you or something? ❞
Watches her check her phone before quickly adding.
                                                        ❝ And please call me Carter. ❞

Kadence glanced sideways at the manager when he showed up - and she frowned. The manager didn’t take care of the girls as much as the bouncer did, it truly was disappointing. Kadence looked up at Carter, her lips falling slack in surprise before shrugged a little. He seemed keen on doing something; why not, right?

                                               ❝ I guess, yeah, you can walk me, Mr. -- I mean, Carter. ❞

A small smiled curled on her lips as she peered up at him before she turned around, glancing over her shoulder at him before she started walking, 

                                              ❝ This way.  I live just three blocks away from here, so.❞
