I would like to start an art/ask blog similar to the Little Heroes AU but focusing on the Legends for the most part. I have a lot of designs for kid (young) versions of the LoT team and I would love to show them off. Any thoughts?
[FFXVWeek] Day 6: Character + Quote ↪ “Be somebody nobody thought you could be.”
Today on Coloring with Coley: stuff that has no color! Maybe it should be “shading with Coley”? *shrug* Anyway, Finally drew Munakata, and I’m fairly happy with the way he turned out. I’m liking all these, except the Green King didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped. Still, it looks like him (I think), so I’m happy with it.
So.... more of my attempts to get better at drawing... the top pic (Yata and Mikoto) looked good until I painted it, then it lost a lot of the details. After that, I got a set of graphite pencils, and OMG they’re so friggin great! lol So, then I drew Tatara and Shiro, and so far, they’re my favorite pieces I’ve done. After that, I tried drawing Kusanagi and Kuroh and... I don’t even know. I totally lost it somehow. lol I honestly wasn’t even going to post Kuroh, but I figured, you know what? I finished the picture, even though I’m not happy with it. I never gave up. So, I’m posting it for the fact that I didn’t give up. Just gotta try again. (I don’t know why I have so much trouble with Munakata and Kuroh!)

I recently bought a set of graphite pencils, which I’m friggin loving!! My question is this: Once I’m done with my drawing, what can I use to keep the pencils from smudging?
Coldwave + swapping the word “partner” for “husband” changes nothing
Last week, I started a thing on my FB, which I’ve stupidly decided to call “Coloring with Coley”. Every day, I’ve uploaded a pic I’ve drawn (and then colored), hoping to improve my drawing skills. So, I figured I should post them all here, and see if any of my artistic friends have any constructive criticism for me? I’m not so much worried about the coloring (lack of paints and fading markers suck), but I want to get better at drawing by hand.
Anyway, here’s the 7 pics from last week, in order: Day one- Mikoto Suoh, day 2- Mikasi Yata, day 3- Kuroh Yatogami, day 4- Saruhiko Fushimi, day 5- Yashiro Isana, day 6- Yata and Fushimi, and day 7- Kuroh (attempt #2). Obviously, I’ve become a bit obsessed with K Project. :) So, any suggestions on how I can improve my art?
