HEY!!! this lil’ blog managed to hit 300+ followers!!!! aaaa, im so delighted! i’ve always been a fan of ghost rider, because, let’s face it, this is the superior aesthetic: a flaming skeleton on a motorcycle from hell? it just doesn’t get any better than this... and i’m super happy that there are people interested in what i have to offer on this blog! thank you so much, it makes me so glad!!! so here’s a short list of people who make this experience truly RADICAL:

A SHORT BREAK COMES between he speaks again : mind jumping over questions several ( could he do it? the ghost rider has made deal with the devil ——- robbie, on the other hand, deal with a man imposing devil in his life ), mind longing for answers. but he can feel it - filth and rotting of this world. the stains on top of humanity, more than ready for their holy cleanse.

hmm-- he turns his skull towards the kid, the hellfire licking it hesitates for a second-- what a mystery that boy is. johnny has no doubt that robbie was ONE OF THEM, part of the DAMNED, vengeance-seeking family... one of the ghost riders... but he was DIFFERENT, different in ways that johnny didn’t quite understand... and here he thought that there was nothing else left to discover when it came to infernal machinations... swindled again. ( as usual. )

( It's obvious that they share no love for each other, but has there ever been a time where Johnny or Zarathos have missed each other in the slightest? )
//oh they’re definitely not buddies, but over the time (johnny has been the ghost rider for like… 10 years, maybe more) they’ve worked out a very neat partnership, as evidenced by GR: memory lane and all-new ghost rider. and while johnny hates the curse itself, he definitely wouldn’t exchange zarathos for a different spirit of vengeance and zarathos thinks the same, johnny is his host of choice and thats just it, those guys went through so many weird shenanigans together that they had no choice but to work out their issues and create some sort of symbiotic bond
see, whenever they get separated, the world goes to shit and johnny has no other choice but to take the curse back, zarathos ALWAYS re-posseses him, even though he could look for another host, he has an entire world at his disposal, goddamnit. there’s this moment when johnny gets rid of him, he ends up in alejandra’s body. then through some hellish machinations, zarathos leaves HER body and IMMEDIATELY goes to johnny, screaming BLAZEEEEEEEE in a very dramatic way. he gets intercepted though. and when the same thing happens again, he GOES TO JOHNNY and this time he stays there.
being ghost rider is a curse, but it’s a burden that johnny accepted over the years. so did zarathos because sharing a body with a human soul certainly isnt his idea of fun– see, they both suffer but they did manage to work it out, they forgave each other!! i dare say that johnny and zarathos have the best relationship out of all ghost riders. bc eli and robbie are fucked up– and so was noble kale and danny, like what the fuck.

he’s an immovable force, boots rooted to the spot and shoulders pulled high. he may not paint an OMINOUS picture like the great johnny blaze; clattering bones swallowed up by leather and flames, but rogers doesn’t let it deter him. besides, if the situation was on smoother grounds, he’d find this whole thing amusing ( reminds him of those sepia clips that spun before the movie played. spooky scary skeletons has always been a personal FAVORITE of his ).
rogers’ head dips a fraction to the side, eyes flicking down when metal CLINKS from johnny adjusting his grib ( chains, why CHAINS of all things ?? ).

( Does Johnny suffer from any medical conditions? (( Eg. PTSD )) If he does, does Zarathos get any side effects of it? )
//ACTUALLY HE DOES!!!! he suffers from a touch of ptsd because he DIED and went to hell where he spent an actual year, which of course felt much longer. his torture was that every day, he raced for his freedom and every time he reached the final gate, it would lead nowhere. he spent an entire year riding for something he could never have… and sometimes, when he has nightmares, he dreams he’s still locked in that never-ending race.
but tbh, the life on earth has granted him enough bad memories as it is, sometimes when he hesitates, he thinks about everyone he has ever let down and it just gets to him, he freezes up and this is when zarathos steps in, taking the control away from johnny in order to save them both, while johnny relives his worst memories.
and zarathos doesn’t really share this with johnny, you have to understand that he’s a demon and doesn’t react like a human does. he is much more stable than his host and whenever those moments of weakness happen, he just takes over the body and does what he wants. johnny would have to faint or something in order to really affect zarathos, since it was stated that he can’t take over if johnny is unconscious.
and tbh if anything, the possibility of just… disappering from the world of the living is sometimes very attractive to johnny. he just– vanishes for a while, lets zarathos do what he wants… doesn’t feel pain or emotional trauma, he’s just barely there. but ofc, the world needs johnny blaZE SO THAT DOESN’T LAST FOR LONG.
