seriously please boycott the new Death Note movie

not only did they whitewash it by casting a white actor to play Light, Asian actors weren’t even allowed to audition because they “were not looking to see Asian actors” (x) 

Let’s do to them just as we did to that atrocity StoneWall and its white washing cousin Pan.

Boycott these motherfuckers till they get the message. No one wants your white washed racist bullshit and you will continue to lose money until you stop.

I usually try not to read the notes on this post but like really?? the role of Light Yagami, a Japanese student living in Japan who is canonically Asian, doesn’t have a background built for an Asian actor?
