What a difference 54 years makes juxtaposition of Audi 80 Variant, 1966 and Audi A4 Avant, 2020. Audi have revealed a revised A4 range. The A4 traces its linage back to the F103 Audi 60/80 of the 1960s which was Audi’s first model to use a 4-stroke engine. It had been developed in conjunction with Daimler-Benz who were Audi’s partners until 1966 when they were taken over by Volkswagen. The A4 replaced the 80 in 1996
