You know. I think niggas replacing no homo with no diddy need to think and reflect and maybe even kill themselves.

Like...It's really crazy how yall will breeze by the fact that these men are fuckin predators, abusers, and just cancer to our community in general unless you think they're "too zesty."

Diddy isn't a monster because he's gay. There are plenty of cishet abusers and predators in the industry who get a pass because of their own displays of toxic masculinity and bigotry. I bet you if Kodak started painting his nails tomorrow, all you weirdo niggas would stop fucking with him off of that instead of the fact that he's a predator.

Crown shyness (also canopy disengagement, canopy shyness, or intercrown spacing) is a phenomenon observed in some tree species, in which the crowns of fully stocked trees do not touch each other, forming a canopy with channel-like gaps. The phenomenon is most prevalent among trees of the same species, but also occurs between trees of different species.

This is a huge reason housing is unaffordable. Make this illegal.

Just this morning there was a news article speaking on why corporations shouldn't own housing. A group of investors bought a huge swath of housing all over northern Ontario. Including in my town. They bought the properties on speculation due to an insane real estate bubble here in Canada. Well now the bubble is bursting, houses are selling for sometimes $100K less than they were purchased for, and the trajectory is that this trend will continue and that houses that are genuinely worth $300K but were bought for $1.1 Million could be selling for very close to their actual value. But back the the corporation. They were so greedy and so cold and uncaring and lacked so much as a tiny shred of community and social responsibility, that they bought all these houses entirely on speculation. So they evicted the residents, boarded them up or left the residents and became absentee landlords because they were not in the landlord business, they were in the speculation business. And so...POP!!!!

These clowns are now filing bankruptcy in the amounts of $124 Million. And the housing that they bought (look at the map of Sault Ste. Marie in the article) will now enter receivership and will revert to creditors. Meaning they will remain off the market for years possibly. Even less attainable than before.

As we as a nation are in the worse housing crisis we have ever experienced. This is EXACTLY the reason corporations should not own residentials properties.

Well one of them. There are other reasons including exclusivity - In my town we have one corporation that owns or manages about 65% of the rental housing. This means if you apply to rent one place and are not accepted, you are automatically not accepted to 65% of the properties in town. And one of the other is that turning a human right (housing) into a commodity never, ever works out well for the little guy. Never! I can think of a hundred more reasons. But anyway here is the article.
