Chev shook his head. “I think they’d just been hunting a witch, but it happened in the bunker. In the garage. It was like… One minute I was a car, and then I was just sitting there a human. I think they would’ve checked for hex bags or something, though…”

Bobby gave a slow nod, patting Chev's shoulder. "Don't ya worry, son. We're gonna figure things out. If ya want, we're gonna have ya back ta bein' a car in no time." Though the possibility did exist that maybe he didn't want that. "An' if ya ain't plannin' on spendin' yer time as a car, we're gonna figure out everythin' ya need ta be human. I got some contacts that're gonna be able ta hook ya up with all the things yer gonna need."

Dean and Bobby

Dean watched as the cut bled but didn’t burn, giving Bobby a small satisfied nod. He honestly didn’t think that he was a shifter - no, this really seemed like the real Bobby to him - but it was still nice to see some confirmation. After all, unlikely as it might be, the possibility that he was a shifter was still real.

When Bobby asked him if he had some holy water, Dean nodded and pulled a flask out of his pocket. Since dealing with demons had started to become a common occurrence for him and Sam, he’d grown into the habit of keeping a flask with holy water on him. There was no telling when they might need it. “Yeah, here.” He replied, uncapping it and reaching out to pour some on Bobby.

Going through the motions like this was something that wasn't new to Bobby at all. He'd tested himself thoroughly to make sure that he wasn't anything supernatural but his tests had come out as negative. It was really him and he was really back from the dead, for whatever reason. But that was something that he was going to worry about later, because right now, all he could be concerned with was making sure that Dean knew that he wasn't a demon or anything else.

He watched Dean taking out his flask and he reached out for it. What better way than to show he wasn't a demon than taking a swig. Doing just that, he took a swig of the holy water, swallowing the mouth full of water before handing the flask back to Dean. "Ya satisfied I ain't somethin' supernatural, son?" He asked with a hint of a smile.

Lucifer and Bobby

“What,” the devil crossed his arms, “a guy can’t just stop in to say hi? Chew the fat, shoot the shit, whatever you humans do?”

"If yer here, it ain't fer no reason." Bobby responded, trying his best not to act flippant. The last thing that he wanted was getting his neck snapped again. "Whaddya want?"

Emma and Bobby

“And I’ll just rub your feet while I’m at it then.” Emma responded with sarcasm clear upon the tone of her voice as she reached her way into the kitchen. Despite her remark she sent him, a warm huff left her as she took another beer for him as well. She made her way back to him and carefully set the beverage on top of his desk in front of him, "Y’gonna be done soon?”

Bobby chuckled softly at the note of sarcasm in the girl's voice, not responding to the jab. He figured that he would get more of those responses if this kept up but still that didn't make him hurry what he was doing. He kept it up, reaching for the beer when it was set down in front of him. "Thank ya kindly." He said, holding up the bottle in silent toast before taking a swig. "Ain't gonna be much longer. How 'bout ya start tellin' me what ya want?"

While Elizabeth wasn’t sure how he could be so certain that she wouldn’t turn into a vampire, she still found it to be a huge relief to her that she was going to be fine. “Somewhere in Chicago…I know it’s pretty much the centre, so that probably helps…” she trailed off, trying to keep more pressure on the wound. “If you catch Sam on your way back…bring him home, please?” She needed to know that he was safe after chasing that thing down the street.

"Chicago?" Bobby repeated. How the hell did Sam end up there? Well, didn't matter, as long as he was able to get there before something happened to him or this girl, then it was fine. "Any signs ya recognize?" He asked. "Any street signs?" if she could see one, that would really help him find her because Chicago was a really big place and with the amount of crap that roamed around there? "I will, honey, don't ya worry. I ain't sure how long's gonna take me ta get ta ya. Ya keep pressure on ya wound, alright? If ya start feelin' weak, ya need ta head ta hospital, tell 'em ya been 'tacked by an animal, they're gonna believe ya."

Dean and Bobby

Odds were, if he knew Bobby well, that the older hunter had already been through this same drill himself, wanting to make sure that he was human. It was rather unlikely that he wouldn’t have noticed it, but one could never be too careful. What if a demon was laying dormant and letting him take the wheel for a while? It could happen.

“I’m guessing you’ve been through all this already.” Dean said, reaching out to carefully make a cut on Bobby’s arm with the silver knife. If it didn’t burn, then he wasn’t a shifter.

Image

Honestly, Bobby couldn't blame Dean for wanting to test him. He understood how shocking something like this had to be for Dean and so he didn't resist when Dean cut him with the silver knife. "Yeah." He hissed at the cut, watching the red blood bubbling up and reaching into his pocket to pull out a rag to press against the wound after making sure that Dean had seen it. "Ya got holy water, son?"

Of course, he had his own flask on him, but that wasn't going to be enough to convince Dean that he wasn't a demon, because for all Dean knew, it could just be normal water.
