Kung Fu Panda and the Zodiac signs. ;)

Aries - Tigress

Tigress is strong, impulsive, courageous and determined, main characteristics of this sign. It also has the leadership, it is ironic, can not hide what you think and is very determined. However, when things do not happen when the Aryans want, they become aggressive and cold (like when she was not chosen for Dragon Warrior), however, when like someone too, can make numerous sacrifices (like playing yourself in front of a bomb by a friend and can become a zombie trying to defend Shifu).

Taurus - Viper

Viper is affectionate, sensual and solidarity, as the women of Taurus. Normally gentle, caring and loving, it is the mother of the group. Taureans is usually very quiet, but as Viper when needed are lethal and accurate. They do not like being upset and hate injustice or when treating someone badly (like when others spoke of Po in the first film, or when mistreat someone she likes), tend to like food and dancing (as Viper, who cooked for the sisters and practice the dance).

Gemini - Monkey

Like the monkey, Geminis are intelligent and fast, loves to tell stories, they are smart and are very curious. They are very communicative, observe all (as when in the Secret of Scrolls of which he was the only one who noticed the peculiar way of Tigress’s floor). Leo - Mei Mei

Mei Mei is intuitive, impulsive, confident, passionate, generous, theatrical and full of energy, like all leonine. Dominant (she who leads the musicians for your dance), has a strong personality, is his own man, charismatic, sporting, elegance and trust your own touch. Is very vain and thinks he is the center of the universe. It tends to theater, dance, anything to show enough.

Virgo - Shifu

As Shifu, Virgos have very logical sense, insight and a practical spirit. They are efficient, practical and resourceful to do their work with great responsibility without being charged ( as master of Kung Fu is extremely efficient). Stands for rationality and wisdom (which he has to spare), they are people who tend to analyze everything and channel their energy to logic. They are also sensitive people, reserved, methodical, responsible and loyal in their romantic and personal relationship. As nothing is perfect, and they people overly concerned with perfection, become sometimes boring, detail to the extreme, always ready to criticize the faults of others, exaggerating in detail and the minutiae (This is often seen in the saga mainly in the first film).

Libra - Mantis

Librans are diplomatic, charming and sociable. Idealists, peaceful, optimistic and romantic (Mantis have a dream of getting married), have a friendly and balanced character, as Mantis.  Libra tends to be sensitive to the needs of others and usually very sociable, do not support the fights and cruelty and are very diplomatic before the conflict. usually seek consensus before a problematic situation (it prevents Tigress harm the Po), they know how to value the effort of others and like to live and work in teams. Are easily influenced by others (he influenced by the situation is the first of furius five to fight against Kai by  a master Rooster) and a little indecisive.

Scorpio - Lord Shen

Scorpios are full and sensual people who use all their power to seduce, as Lord Shen (no wonder he’s a peacock). Scorpio is capable of anything to reach your goal (even destroy the Kung Fu). He knows how to use all the strategies to reach your ultimate goal (he uses fireworks), He’s ready to lie and manipulate. This fire sign has a constant need for stimuli to evolve, the only downside is the daily denial, which always leads to escape the obligations, both material and emotional (in the series is remarkable that he does not like to train). Pisceans are selfless in their personal relationships and often give more than receive, they are loyal people and seek a mental and spiritual union, like the sense of home and family.

I was reading through the comments in the tags, and I noticed a lot of:

People over 29 are not automatically creepy or pedos. They are just as likely to be either as a 20 year old; most are less creepy because they are more experienced. Age discrimination is pretty gross. Does anyone really think that 29+ yr olds are going to think less about the concerns of smutting with someone under a age of majority? No, they probably think about it more because they haven’t been a grown child for years and face the real world more then the kiddos around.

Saying “As long as you’re not X” is pretty gross because it is implying that they are more likely to and contributes to the very reason why people over 29 are so reluctant about sharing their age — It IS age-based discrimination.

Also, just because someone is 30 yrs old does not mean they are something less than because they are still interested in rping. If you do the math based on the theory that most rpers begin around the age of 15-17, they may have been rping since the early 2000s, and some for even longer. That is 15+ yrs, so why would they suddenly be disinterested in something they have been doing for longer than some rpers are in total age. Do you know how many years of experience 15 yrs adds up to? If you want to become a good writer, then seek out those with the most experience.

If you don’t discriminate against rpers for being younger, then don’t do it because they are older. Nothing in life should have a time limit or expiration on interests that make people happy and bring no harm to others.

Personally, I hope to still have a passion and love for rping when I’m 90 yrs old and sitting in my nursing home. Never forget, kiddos, that you’ll be “old” someday and facing people telling you not to love the things you love because you’re past your expiration date.

As someone who is turning 33 this May, I fully stand behind everything in the above post.

I’ll be 34 in 5 months.  It makes me glad to see a post like this.  I will admit I’ve felt out of place at times during my 4-year tenure here on Tumblr.  This is owing to the fact that the demographic is comprised mostly of teens and 20-somethings.

Being judgmental and making assumptions before learning about someone or something is always something that has plagued the prejudicial and judgmental world in which we live.  Just because something or someone is different than us, doesn’t make them any less important or inferior.  Simply taking the time to understand and learn more will make one more knowledgeable and informed.

The important thing to remember is that we all share common interests and different experiences.  Those of us who are older, like myself, have more experience and knowledge to share with those who are younger.  Having since been the latter at one point (and still younger among other adults) and learning from those who came before me, it is now a privilege and a pleasure to share my experiences with those who are younger. Learning is an on-going process.  Sometimes, even the student becomes the teacher.
