Splatoon super post!! The first is my piece for Team Octoling’s @turfwarzine and my two pieces for the Stay Fresh zine at @splatzine! I love splatoon a whole bunch so these were so fun much to do ;;;;

My Turf War zine is matchy with @cyanatar‘s piece’s inkling piece– she did the design of the Inkling scouts and I did the Octo scouts! >3

HELLO GUYS!!!

Long time no post, thats because I was busy away in JAPAN! But I have come back and I am here to show you guys the piece I made for the @splatzine STAY FRESH FASHION ZINE!! Inspired by Mexican Quinceañeras, I decided to make a sort of ball dress for that fancy and festive occasion. Lots of colors, Lots of positive vibes, a party in every sense!!

Also, in a different subject matter, I will be publishing Three comics before May 2016. Each one is a different theme, which I will explain when time comes. One will be a Mini Cook-book while the other are a bit more personal. Ill post more previews soon!

Squids! Graffiti! Fashion!! Some illustrations for Stay Fresh Zine!

My finished piece for the just released Splatzine– a Splatoon fan-zine done in the style of a fashion magazine. For my piece, I did an ad for one of those “Meet a Celebrity” contests. Eagle eyed fans might notice a certain reference to a very specific Nintendo Power contest ad.

For this piece, I decided to play around with a more restrictive color palette, and I gotta say, I really love how it came out.

You should go buy the zine now– it’s filled with a bunch of art by a BUNCH of really awesome people (many of which with art in Rhythm Zinegoku). Actually, its kiiiinda out of stock right now, but keep an eye out for orders to open up again.

((Look what came in the mail today! The Stay Fresh Splatoon fanzine! I was able to get my hands on the kraken tier, now look at all these stickers I won’t know where to paste on. :’D The little paperdoll is sooo cute, but I’ll most likely just print another copy of it and cut THAT one up ahahaa….

My pages are inspired by punk zines, with a cut-and-paste look, offset colors to emulate printing errors, and street style fashion. I also experimented with a few different inkling hairstyles!
