A lot of spokes to clean...
Concorde made it’s first commercial flight between London and New York 40 years ago today. Such an incredible machine. I stitched this together from some images I shot in the display hangar at the National Museum of Flight.

Old skool games for the win!
An evening like this and I’m stuck in the house with a dodgy back, great...
A nice evening for a walk between shows in work today. Bitterly cold but good company and good chats though.
Looking down the River Clyde past the Finnieston Crane to the Clyde Auditorium and beyond.

Hello! Apologies for seeming to abandon this blog recently, I just haven’t had the time to take photos, or fly drones, or do anything at all really but work and sleep it seems and moved house into the bargain. Then had to spend the last 4 days of 2016 in the house cause I was ill! Hope everyone had a good Christmas and has a very happy New Year.
It wasn’t the most scenic walk for a New Year’s evening but at least we were all out in the fresh air at last, and Venus and The Moon did their bit to lift our spirits.

Avoiding the traffic meant taking the scenic route home from work this evening.
Some Burnout Paradise before bed... you can't die or run out of time but can have huge slow motion crashes, it's the perfect game for a toddler!
OK...
...so I got an email from Tumblr saying they had removed a video I uploaded in 2014 of my son standing up by himself for the first time because posting explicit sexual content is not allowed! Eh?!
This photo pretty much sums up today...
They’re having to do some repairs and strengthening on beams and roof trusses in my work which required these platforms to be built and lifted out from the stage. Lots of welding so even the tabs have been taken down. All going to plan so far though...

Looking up through the forest outside Zermatt. Lindsay was 6 months pregnant so had stopped for a rest in the hills above the town as I walked on. I crossed a beautiful alpine meadow with no one else around and found myself in these trees. It was so peaceful and the air was so fresh, if I had to choose a happy place this would probably be it.

regarding your theatre photos i was just curious as to whether they were your own or the work of others without crediting them?
They are indeed my own, it's where I work and they are making some changes over the next few weeks so I wanted to document how it looked for posterity. Unless I've specifically said otherwise (or the few times I've actually reblogged something) all the photos on this blog are my own.
As a contrast to the photo I posted yesterday, here’s the view the audience rarely gets to see. The King’s Theatre, Glasgow.
