*”Wow, two solo albums in the top 3? YOU’RE GODDAM RIGHT. **Did you know he covered Beck and Lucinda Williams on this one? Petty really needs to cover more contemporary material, and leave the Them covers to aging bar bands. ^True story, I wrote a paper about this album in my freshman year of college. Higher ed is a Ponzi scheme, man. ^^Has any lyric aged worse than “Take back Joe Piscopo”? I say not.
