From 2019 race. This year’s result? 9th place - great improvement.
A man intent on his sails.
Here we are. The recent digging-up of quality unseen material by @sunabashedcollector inspired me to a mission of discovery. And Getty Images delivered once again.
The credit goes to Michael Putland for this puckish shot promoting The Comedy of Errors (1983). His special interest is snapping rock and pop musicians in the throes of what they do. And so it’s likely that we owe this Kitchen gem to Roger Daltrey’s presence in the cast (as Dromio) alongside Mr K. But nobody’s complaining. Here it is, and ain’t it nice?
For your enjoyment, I include a few more curly Comedy of Errors shots.
… plus a “clean” one of the Putland image.
Cold, cranky, and coat fidgets. (I’m sure there were some warmer filming days, but sheesh).

Missin’ John Farrow a little bit.
And outtakes of MK cracking up.
You ain’t Robinson Crusoe, flygirl 😢 Misery loves company, eh? We’re all probably missin’ that polite, gentle character a l’il bit 😜
Lovely set of stills, btw 😊
Yes-the gentleness of his character is definitely the part I’m missing. And the crazy…. 😂.
Nooooooooooooo!!!
Yeah, the crazy. That’s very missable.
And the Farrow face-acting.
But you’re right about the outtakes….such a rare treat for this fandom.
*sigh*
Will there ever be anymore?
Farrow on a Friday!
I’d love to see Farrow meet Foyle.
Nice to see this big post come up again!
