So I don't know if you've answered this before. I love seeing your Levihan stuff (I go out of my way most days to check your blog to make sure I didn't miss anything new), but then I wondered, what made you first ship Levihan?

basically it began as a joke I started when my brother was confused by the episode 9 hair grab and thought they were a couple, and I humoured him for a while and told him they were. but during my second viewing of the show and reading the manga for the first time that joke kind of turned into a life-ruining hardcore shipping obsession I did not even ask for. 

it was due to a lot of reasons; I like their odd dynamic, the fact that while they are very much opposites they also have a metric fuckton in common like their gross senses of humour, their morals, their values, etc. they even curse at and sass people in such a similar way (usually involves either sarcasm or telling someone to go shit/piss themselves). and I noticed straight away that hange is one of the only characters who actually jokes back with levi and just doesn’t seem intimidated or put-off by him in the least (besides erwin of course). 

I just thought they’d balance each other out and compliment each others personalities. I also fucking love their height difference. Not to mention I adore the concept of this messy, unhygienic, exuberant science nerd finding love with a coarse, grumpy, ultra-clean, former thug. It’s a crazy adorable dynamic.

and yeah, they just work really well together as comrades and friends and obviously have a lot of respect for each other and that makes for a great foundation for romance to me.
