Mongolia looked over to the Russian's house, he knew that he didn't want to go there...BUT it was for his boss and people, they wanted to make good relations and actions to the large Country. He huffed silently to himself and knocked on the door. ((ovo Sorry I'm not that good with starters.))
Ivan had been finishing off the last of the papers his boss had sent him for that day, humming happily at the thought that he’d have the rest of his day to do as he pleases, when he heard a knock on the front door. He frowned lightly, wondering who it could be since no one had visited him in days, before rising from his seat and making his way through the mansion, pausing at the front door to open it with a broad smile. "Здравствуйте!" He said cheerily, "Who is paying Mother Russia a vi-" He then noticed who it was. Seeing the Mongolian nation quickly made him frown and narrow his eyes some, closing the door a little and peeking out at Mongolia. “Oh…is you. I was not expecting to be seeing you. Is there something you are needing, Монголия?” (That’s okay, starters are always a bit tricky~ v u v)
Hearing what Mongolia had to say, his uncertain words and quiet voice made Ivan’s brow raise with slight surprise, but the frown and suspicion were still very evident on his expression. "Did you now?" He said in response, his child like voice laced with a slight bitter tone. "How unusual to be hearing you say that." It seemed at first that Ivan was going to refuse the Mongolian’s attempt to make things right between them, but Ivan was quiet for a moment, before opening the door a bit more. Not enough to let the older country in, but enough to show that he was listening. And less likely to slam the door on his face. "You are sounding genuine enough." Ivan said with a surprisingly stoic face. "But how are you planning on doing such thing? Little chat over dinner and sharing bottle of vodka?"
He listened to all of what the taller man had to say, the tone of his voice and looks clearly spoke out to him that he was unsure or skeptical of his actions.
"Well…I suppose I would be giving you gifts from my people to yours. We have recourse’s willing to give, like oil and food." khüchtei was unknowingly starting to puff out his cheeks like a mad child.
Mongolia looked away ” And..Maybe share this over some Vodka and Kumis. Mrm…And as for a gift my boss willing to give you my prized horse to show you how true I and my country are willing to show our truce.”
The mongol wasn’t happy that his boss was making him do this, but lately China has been wanting to take his land. And worse he didn’t want to lose his special horse.
Ivan was never one to turn down resources (though he himself was chock full of them in his own lands-), and looked quite thoughtful over Mongolia's offer, nodding his head at the promised items until he heard that he would be receiving a prized horse from the other nation. At this, he leaned against the door frame and shook his head. "Horse, I will not be needing." He said, the first hint of a smile gracing his features. "I am having my own horses which I am liking already, da~? You can go ahead and keep it." Though Ivan was truly a big fan of horses, he was very picky and often grew attached to the ones he raised himself in his barn house out back, so he felt it would be a waste for Mongolia to give him a horse when he already had a few he loved already.
"How about this? Instead of giving horse, you make dinner for this evening instead of me, da~? I am certain you would prefer that over giving away your good horses~" Ivan's grin widened at the thought of the Mongolian cooking dinner instead of himself, and almost felt some satisfaction in having more control over this situation than the Mongolian did for once. But, he did not want to seem too pleased, otherwise it would only make the old Mongolian more cranky~ No matter how amusing that would be to the Russian's eyes.

khüchtei looked away mumbling, the Russian was looking at him with that unhappy look. He didn’t blame him tho the mongol did do some bad things to him back in the day.
Some of the memories came back a majority of them left a bad taste in his mouth. He then coughed and looked to Russia with his usual unfeeling face.
"Yes…Сайн байна уу to you to Ivan.." came a very uncertain yet strong voice of his.
He breathed in a bit and continued to talk to him, “Ivan I came here to…Make amends to you…” He softly and surprisingly struggled to say to him.
