Day 11: not exactly corps related, but today I got the official letter that my first publication is a reality! Day 85: tonight I will leave this dog tag on the field to mark the end of the 2015 season. This tag has been here for months of blood, tears, and a whole lot of sweat. Tonight I leave this piece of myself on the turf of Lucas oil, along with all the pieces of myself that I leave in the final run of the show. It's fitting that this summer's show was about Paris; not only the city of light, but the city of love, for a summer where I have learned more about what it means to love than ever in my life. I have learned to love myself, I have fallen in love with this organization in a new way, I've met friends and phamily and one particularly wonderful girl and loved them all, and I've grown so much for each bit of it. Now for one last show with the people I love. Phantom Regiment, I like you and I love you. Nobody. We are. SUTA.
