In the saga of, Someone put my artwork up without my permission and then altered it, put their brand name on it and is profiting from it, I am now drafting a proper DMCA notification (thanks @mspoodle1) with descriptions of my artwork to prove I own the copyright owner along with dates of original publication in an online format. Have found that because my artwork can be a source of income (the various drawings, paintings and photos)which could be sold as prints if I chose to, I have further ground to stand on that these assholes do not have “fair use” of my work because they are profiting from the download. If I actually had money, I’d sue their ass for everything they have made from the ads on that page.

My mod is no different than me allowing people to put my artwork up in a gallery. You may not use it other than for personal use, you may take photographs of it, but you may NOT steal it or make money from it unless you notify me and ask first! This is artwork I created in college and can no longer create due to health and financial issues (not to mention I can barely find film to purchase anymore, let alone a company that’s affordable to develop it). I doubt you’d come into my house, see me struggling to walk, then proceed to take my artwork off the walls in person unless you are a truly evil person and enjoy getting pummeled with a cane. 

I know this happened to a lot of mod creators who had their intellectual and creative property/copyrights from sims 3 stolen. I know people at this point people are a bit jaded to the fact that hey, this happened to a lot of people, so quit complaining about it. I’m sorry it happened to everyone, but I’m not going to go quietly and I’m going to fight these people until they remove it. Facebook and google+ have already done so. I’m still hoping twitter will. They allow terrorists to continue to work on their servers, so I’m not exactly hopeful they will. 

My mod from mod the sims was stolen

I haven't really kept up with the sims 3 community on here because my health has gone downhill and need a wheelchair to walk now. As if I wasn't having enough RL issues, someone hacked my very rarely used twitter account and upon a search of my user name, I came across someone whom has stolen my mod from mod the sims that uses my personal artwork to add to the sims 3 game. I know this was rampant about a year ago, but didn't realize it was still happening. All my artwork is copyrighted and it says to not use any part of my mod unless given explicit permission. I am furious and feel violated. I don't even know where to begin with getting it removed. I just emailed them to ask them to remove it, but it's all over several of their accounts over several different platforms.

You know, this is why we can't have nice things, folks.

Currently testing to see if my game is broken (as in I may need to reinstall all of it) or if I may just need to port my sims to a smaller town.

This was not exactly where I thought my story would evolve into, but as sims go, things change lol.

After Christian dismissed Tammie, there was a toddler tantrum and a fight over the only potty chair until the girls realized that Christian had invited Tammie over that night. She wasn’t the butler anymore, though. Christian had asked if she would move in (I added her to the household since I didn’t know I had the mis-matched module yet).

Christian waking up next to Tammie apparently gives him so much joy that he wanted to play with the kids...er the kid’s toys.

I was actually having some trouble with the save and did a total reset on the town with MC. Come to find out I had a mis-matched module with MC.

Julia gets a crash course in learning how to talk and walk since dad has been “distracted” for the last few days. At least she has been reading books with her sister and playing with the toys in the nursery to keep her busy.

Well, let’s just go with it.

Christian takes this opportunity to ask for a very sensual blood donation before realizing both kids are tired, hungry and pretty cranky. Luckily Tammie steps up to help get them ready for bed. Rewards for getting the kids to bed....apparently quite good.

Christian....what are you doing? Damn it! I forgot to turn off autonomous love charm.

Potty training for Julia while Marie practices magic. I guess some of that experimental cloning made her a witch as well.

I look over to see that Jean (Christian’s mom) is in labor. The look on Sam’s face says he didn’t pick out the baby name. I renamed him Ben since Jean is American and Sam appears like his family is supposed to be Asian-American.

Does anyone know why sims start posing like this after a while when teaching toddlers to walk? It has been a while since I’ve seen it.

Marie gets her lessons in potty training, learning to talk and walk. She seems to enjoy the extra attention from Christian.

The next day it’s Julia’s turn to have a birthday. I think she’s artistic and brave. The butler seems to not only be doing her job, but also enjoying it a bit. Yay!

Christian’s mom invited him to a party, so he decided to hire a butler since the last babysitter left the babies hungry and dirty for hours. Only one other neighbor showed up, so good luck charms and a pillow fight ended up being the most amusing thing to happen at the elder Sekemotos’ home.

It’s been several days of taking care of the kids and before he realizes it, it’s time for Marie...ahem Marie the baby, not Mariana, to have her birthday. I’m not sure how, but she is an artistic and flirty toddler.

Mom called to let Christian know she was at the park nearby. Christian called a babysitter to stay with the kids.

She informed him that his grandparents had passed away and the family had decided to move to Lucky Palms. She told him his dad and sister were still too upset to talk about it, so they had stayed at the new house.

Apparently Mom (this is the child of my original simself) wasn’t too upset to try for a baby. In world 2 hours and she’s pregnant.
