I would love to have a kid. Not biological ofc, I mean adoption or fostering(lol). I would love to raise another human being and do everything I could to do right by them in a way that wasn't done for me. But, well, no resources, no finances, disabled, etc etc.
My situation sometimes feels like such a micro-example of millennials and our parents generation (boomers). My parents want grandkids and a legacy(and someone to take care of them now that they've become old), but they didn't want to do the work to raise the children who would be able to give them these things.
I turn 36 this year. I want nothing more to live by myself in a nice little house and be stable enough to consider being a parent. But I don't think it's ever going to happen.
It's sad.
the one thing i want from nintendo...is another 'majora's mask'. As in, another game where they make a compact world w/side quests and npc's and schedules (and time based) that's made up of reused assets from botw/totk
with transformation masks again (Rito? Goron? Zora?) and an end of the world situation that's actually pressing
fuck man call it something else like '____'s Mask' and have the villain be whatever was going on with the fierce deity thing

oh brother 😔 I had this date a few years back with an autistic guy, where he was like “by the way, you’re autistic too,” and I was like “oh, haha, no I’m not!” and then he went through this listing of every diagnostic trait he’d noticed ending with “and you haven’t made eye contact with me ONCE!” while I sat there getting more and more furious.
in retrospect I think it was very funny, and I hope he’s doing well

the honest answer is that I will likely never be formally diagnosed. I can imagine a lot of negatives from having that information in my record, but (because I am self-employed and not in school) no real positives. if I ever want to adopt, or emigrate, or if I find myself hospitalized, it is not something that I want the people in charge of making decisions to know about me
man the way parents of autistic kids talk about them is so abysmal
like.. even when they're trying to be positive and uplifting the wording always makes them sound like they're referring to an alien
maybe my immediate family is lucky that there is Something Wrong with all of us

just had to abandon a randomizer seed bc it locked the master sword behind an archery shooting game...this controller is not smooth enough and i'm simply not good enough for that rip this seed
