the port being built in gaza is built with the rubble of destroyed homes in gaza, rubble that contained the corpses of loved ones that couldn't be removed for months. and now, because of a single decision made by some american in a room thousands of miles away, is being lifted onto trucks that will carry concrete but won't carry food. i've never seen anything like this. the injustice of it all is scalding

will never forget the parents who lost all 8 of their kids saying "they slept hungry, we were trying to get them a piece of bread but they were killed"

we are witnessing a population run out of food. WFP said a few days ago that half of the population are starving, nine out of 10 are not eating every day.

keep in mind that not having enough food, even when you're not literally starving to death, makes your body heal slower so all these people (who have all sorts of wounds from the bombing and everything else) are all physically healing much more slowly than they would be if they had any food to eat. it also causes you to have difficulty regulating body temperature which means that these people (who had to leave their homes with no winter clothes to speak of) are much more susceptible to the cold than they would be if they just had food.

the current problems every gazan is facing right now all exacerbate each other.

*lebanese journalist | could not find date of martyrdom

spent the whole day confirming all of these names and looking through multiple resources. the ones with dates are journalists who’s date of martyrdom and/or exact cause of death is stated by sources besides the government media office official list.

Bethlehem, Palestine.

Usually there is a festive parade to celebrate Christmas.

But today it is a silent march for the lives lost in Gaza.

20,000K+ dead. Countless under the rubble and so many more injured.

You know I wish fatphobia was less pervasive. Even among people who consider themself as progressive, it's rampant. So quick reminder. No it's actually not easy to stop being fat, and it sucks that we are treated differently for something we really can't control. Shaming a fat person for being fat, and shaming them for not having the "willpower" to become skinny- is bigotry. And if all you talk to fat people about is weight loss and dieting- congratulations! You're being a dick! Stop.

I am a trans and queer artist and I just came out with my Pride collection, so if you could check it out that would be great. I am a one-person operation, so I am just happy if people take a look.

And even if you don’t buy from me, make sure you get your Pride stuff from queer makers!

Hi! These items and the rest of the Pride Collection are leaving ettamadeit.com July 31, so get them while you can!

Hey guys! The collection is leaving soon and I am gearing up to add new stuff in a couple of weeks. I am just one guy, so anything you buy supports me! Even if you just take a look, that would be awesome! Love ya!

For disability pride month (and the rest of the year) here's a shout out to

- people who have to take "scary" meds like antipsychotics, tranquilizers, schizo meds, lithium, opioids, and steroids because they're the only things that work

-people taking medicinal drugs that may be illegal in some areas

-people who have to get dangerous procedures and treatments

-people who will literally die without their meds and can't stop taking them

-people who can't afford their meds or their meds are so expensive it puts them in poverty

- people whose meds cause undesirable side effects

-people whose meds cause them to be immunocompromised

-people whose meds damage their bodies, but improve general quality of life enough that it's worth it

-people who get told to get off their meds constantly by people other than their doctors (or their doctors didn't want to put them on the med bc they're "too young")

-people who can't take medicine other than ibuprofen or Tylenol due to allergies, interactions, etc.

-people who don't want to take any medicine due to medical trauma

-people who can't take medicine at all and have to cope in other ways

-people who are addicted to their medicine and don't want to stop taking it

-people who are addicted and want to stop taking their meds

-people still suffering from unforeseen side effects that still affect them even though they got off the meds

Our relationships with our medicines/treatments are complicated and no one body is ever exactly the same. Please be respectful of people's choices and feelings about their meds.

I don’t think you can fully understand transmisogyny without understanding how it’s weaponized against cis Black women.

When you find a transmisogynist you’ve found a racist who will use their ideals of the “normative female body” to demean and denigrate Black women. For years it was a popular right wing rumor/conspiracy/dick move to refer to Michelle Obama as a “tranny” and more recently sports organizations have repeatedly excluded cis Black women for not having “normative” hormone levels. Transmisogyny and antiblackness go hand in hand.

Help save my life (2nd post)

Hi,,it’s Jay again. I’m deemed terminally ill by my doctors here. I’m in my 20s, with chronic kidney disease, and can’t face the fact that I’m dying just yet because I got ahold of one of Canada’s most renowned nephrologists and she said she’d be willing to take on my case. I just need to be able to get there and pay for accommodations. Your help would mean the world.

We are trying to raise $6000 overall, which is the cost of the trip, accommodation, food, etc.

PLEASE SHARE. I need support. We are using my friends PayPal and will update what we got frequently. We already got $500 raised.

**Make sure to send funds as a ‘friends/family’ transaction so my friends account isn’t flagged as selling stuff like a business**

$500/$6000

Please I need help

$700/6000
